Cars are not investments! Any luxury vehicle north of 50k is, on paper, a bad financial decision. If you need a mid-size truck, buy a Tacoma. If you need an EV, buy a Model 3. It's never 'good timing' to buy a Cybertruck unless you've got a 7-figure net worth and can pay cash outright. Happy shopping!

There's a reason why this car can't be sold in Europe.... also this cyber"truck" is not actually a truck. It's just a cheap car designed to look like a car. In what world can the frame snap off so easily? I've never seen that happen on any modern vehicle before. Should've bought a real truck, but hey, it's your money, you can burn it however you want.

It’s a truck with a truck bed.
@de_stroyedАй бұрын
@ it's not an actual truck. it can't do truck things.
@1slyboyАй бұрын
@ whatever - The cybertruck has more payload/towing/range than a Ford F-150 lightning. It also has a 6’ bed and payload/towing capacity is inline with a Ford F-150 King Ranch SuperCab with 4wd.
@de_stroyedАй бұрын
@@1slyboy yes on paper it can tow more but it really can't. it's frame will snap before that. a f150 can tow as much as what the cybertruck is rated to tow but ford kept the numbers conservative while tesla overestimated. please watch and look into cybertruck frame snaping. it is NEVER supposed to snap. since it's so heavy, it also easily gets stuck in light off roading and there's a video where a f150 is towing a cybertruck out 😂

Objectively a badly designed vehicle, from build quality and performance - regardless if you like the look of it or love Tesla.
@therealredviperАй бұрын
Disagree with this. So many aspects of this vehicle are well designed with high performance technology
@hik.horticulturesАй бұрын
@therealredviper I agree there is some impressive tech in the car. But it's not a refined product in many ways in regards to quality control and fit and finish, which is unacceptable considering its price point. There are many design decisions which follow form over function which is a detriment to the user experience. Additionally it doesn't perform well as a pickup truck or 4x4, which typically fair better in rugged conditions and terrain, but is marketed as such.
@therealredviperАй бұрын
@@hik.horticultures I think the subpar fit and finish has become something we expect with Tesla. Hopefully as they refine manufacturing, it becomes closer to the vehicle that was announced back in 2019
@hik.horticultures11 күн бұрын
@@therealredviper The issue lies in the expectation itself. This is similar to how we shouldn’t accept games, movies, or other forms of art being released in an unfinished state, only to be worked on post-launch. If consumers continue to engage in this manner, companies will recognize that they can charge the same price for lower-quality products. Ultimately, this leads to a decline in the overall standard of the industry. No matter how it is framed, this is not a positive development, nor something that should be celebrated or applauded. It represents a troubling intersection of marketing and capitalism, and it seems you are embracing it without question.
