I'm so happy to see real people doing real repairs. Our projects always seem to take longer than they should and we have to make at least 4 trips to Lowe's. Thanks for keeping it real!

You all may have not have been the most professional bunch of installers I’ve seen but you sure had fun doing it. Great job everyone! I would like to hire you all to install my security system .

Great, I install one in my 5th wheel I install the Splendide 2100XC by myself and I'm 67 year young, lol. It wasn't really to bad it went right in but the biggest problem was installing the 4" hole in the side of my new Jayco Eagle 5th wheel and installing the dryer vent, that vent holes that come with the kit wasn't long enough so I had to make a trip to Lowes and get a longer one. This was the best mod I did on my RV, oh yeah, I watch a lot of KZbin videos I use some magnet to find the metal stub it work pretty good. Lol, you guys are funny yeah drill that first hole is nervous racking but once you do it, it's not bad my dealer quoted me over $2000 to install one in my 5th Wheel so yeah I saved a lot of money after I bought the washer & dryer combo which was about $900 in all and the buying the vent kit which was about $30 dollars I said no thank you to the dealer.

That spot above washer and dryer could be for paper towels and toilet paper spot.

Looking for ways to do this without the plumbing already installed. Going to remove my kitchen counter and redo my cabinet layout without a stove/oven so by doing that I have space for washer and dryer. We don't cook much and when we do we use our electric skillet cooktop

So one machine does the washing and drying? I thought combo's were 2 separate units. Thanks for posting we are thinking about going full time and a washer and dryer seems like a nice thing to have.

Awesome video. I have the EXACT same trailer. I was wondering, 9 months later, how is that washer holding up. Since I know it fits, I would just by the same one. Thanks in advance for any info. Stay safe out there.

What do you guys do for laundry in your GD 31MB? We are about to buy a fifth wheel and the 31mb is at the top of the list of options right now. I know they don’t put in the plumbing for the washer/dryer in the 31, so you think you could fit the Splendide ventless in the master closet? Any advice or expertise on the laundry front would be so helpful thanks

I was curious how tall you are? I noticed when you were walking around in your cousins new grand design 312BHTS that your head was close to bumping the slides and top of door jamb. We haven’t had a chance to see one around here because none are in stock so was just curious if I would be banging my head into doors and slides with me being 6’2 because that would be a deal breaker. Also how well does your cousin like this model? We are considering it for full time living. I apologize with my questions being all over the place just trying to cover all bases before we jump with both feet in. Thanks.
@HighwayTherapy3 жыл бұрын
I’m 6’2”. We’re full time in a Reflection fifth wheel so I’m used to it. The only place I’ve ever bumped my head is on the entry door and the top of the shower. As for my cousin, they’re semi-full time with three kids and they’re pretty happy with the 312, but they’re considering upgrading to something bigger eventually.
