Bayo Curry-Winchell discusses the historical and current racial practices utilized within healthcare and provides her own challenges she experiences as a Black female physician. Dr. Bayo Curry-Winchell is a family medicine and urgent care physician coming to us from Reno, Nevada, where she is also, among many other things, the Medical Director of Community Engagement and Health Equity with Carbon Health and Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. Aside from her medical work, Dr. BCW is passionate about sharing health information in non-traditional ways through her KZbin series, Beyond Clinical Walls, as well as a multitude of national media appearances and continued, deep involvement with her community.
