If you know this, the claim that Mohammed is greatest prophet actually becomes absurd. So often with these things knowledge is the key to dispelling temptation.

I would humbly submit that the greatest difficulty in identifying/rejecting/exposing false prophets today is the sheer proliferation of them (1 John 4:1 -- *many false prophets...) -- i.e. those who appear to confess that Jesus has come in the flesh but whose wider doctrine and practice is full of error, (and I say that to include many "evangelicals" who evidently don't "love His appearing" beyond just the theory of it -- 2 Timothy 4:8). In other words, the commonplace and multifaceted masquerading (via many denominations all vying for orthodoxy) of righteousness in the Church today is the greatest difficulty to discernment of false prophets and the processing that is required to avoid gross deception. This imperative of "watching" and "guarding" is one that is profoundly supernatural. Ephesians 1:17.

"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." As far as I am concerned most evangelical pastors (at least in Australia) are hollow. As they speak and behave as if one is basically bound to depravity and it is futile to attempt to live righteously. In fact the majority of them believe that faithfully believing in God’s power to live righteously is actually pride.

Grateful for this message. Some false teachers like Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer are easier to identify but Believers must be on watch for our battle is not with flesh and blood. We must also be sensitive to other false teachers that may more subtly draw people in via other means. Bethel and Elevation Church's pastors seem questionable based on what they've preached but be aware that the church's appeal to the "masses" is their praise ministries.

These words were spoken by Our Lord to those pastors in protestant churches, who teach partial Truth, by saying 'Lord, Lord', quoting Bible, mixed with heresies and lies to deceive unsuspecting souls and lead them to their master, the father of lies (John 8:44). Our Lord said, "I know My sheep and they know Me (John 10:14). They hear My voice and follow Me and I give them the eternal life (John 10:27-28)." The sheep in His Fold are the members of His Church, His Body and Bride whom He saves (Eph 5:23), which He founded on the 12 Apostles (Rev 21:14) with St. Peter as His Vicar (Pope) on earth, vesting him with His Authority by giving him the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 16:18-19), and sent to teach all nations to OBSERVE ALL HE Commanded and baptize them (Matt 28:20, Mark 16:16) for salvation of souls until the end of the world. And Our Lord said, "Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16, John 13:20, Matt 10:40)." To justify their existence, protestant churches, which did not even exist before Luther rebelled and found his own church in AD 1524, attack, accuse, slander, and reject the Catholic Church, therefore reject Our Lord, the Head of the Church (Col 1:18). Our Lord said, "Whoever rejects Me and does not accept My Words has something to judge him; the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day (John 12:48). You do not believe because you are not among My sheep (John 10:26). Whoever is not with Me, is against Me (Matt 12:30)." So, Matt 7;23 was spoken to warn protestant pastors and those who follow them, so that they may repent and come to Our Lord's Only Sheepfold (John 10:16) and be saved.

If you do a search by "Joyful Exile" in KZbin, that is a channel focused on among other things, exposing false teachers. (ex. Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, etc.) If you go to his videos and find one titled "He Finally Got Caught" with Joel Osteen's face portrayed, it is a 38 minute video that goes in to detail regarding the red flags related to Joel Osteen. It is informative.

1st Corinthians 12:3 "No one can say Jesus is Lord without the Holy Spirit." I think what Paul says here is needed along with what John writes in 1st John 4:1-6. It's not enough to say that Christ has come in the flesh as the demons do, but to also say that Christ is Lord. The demons cannot say that. I think this is a good way to test the spirits and see if they are from God. Are they agreeing with and living as if both passages are true? See also Romans 10:9 about confessing Jesus as Lord.

I've always understood him to mean that when you say this, you are agreeing that Jesus is Lord of your life (if you asked him to be) and that he should be, and that he should be and will be the Lord of all creation and of all other lords. This is a spiritual gift from God. Demons and the unsaved don't say that. The word 'Lord' is not just a title in this case like 'mister'. It is a declaration from the Holy Spirit. When I say Jesus is Lord, that's what I understand that I'm saying- that he is,and should be Lord of my life. Sometimes I 've struggled saying it in all truth when I've drifted; your own heart knows, but when you can say it in all truth your heart is filled with joy. There are many similar passages in the Bible. Romans 10:9, 1 John 4:2, Mat 22:43.

If you can't know you are saved you have not put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you doubt whether you are part of the elect or not, you are rejecting the free gift of salvation and you are not saved, because you are trusting in your own works for confirmation that you are part of the elect, and not on the finished work of Christ, and you don't have the Holly Spirit in you testifying that God is your Father and Jesus your Savior.

Whatever sacredness that nakedness and certain areas of the body may have had has come to an end, because in heaven, men and women do not marry or remain married to each other. Our bodies will be without immoral or holy erotic desires and abilities and we will be wearing non-revealing white linen to represent righteousness by covering these areas of us. Because earthly marriage is no longer in effect, nakedness and certain parts of the body will only be shameful and unrighteous if they were to be shown. There is the marriage to Jesus in heaven which does not involve or permit nakedness and the showing of certain areas of the body, but it will be better. The non-revealing clothed beauty will be adequate for the enjoyment of the physical appearance of women in heaven and our non-erotic love and intimacy and spiritual beauty will be better than erotic love, intimacy, and beauty because we will be like Jesus and He is better than these. Only the unrepented sinners will be naked when being judged before they are thrown into hell to have their skin burned with fire and infested with worms consciously forever. Whatever good that may have been in nakedness will no longer be there, and nakedness will only be bad. There are two reasons why nakedness is bad. The first one is that before Adam and Eve sinned, their nakedness was not a problem, but after sinning, certain parts of their bodies and ours were permanently corrupted by sin such that even in a sinless state in heaven, it must still be well covered in order to be righteous. The second one is that God created certain parts of the body to be shameful and unrighteous so that when He puts white linen on us, the linen represents Jesus's righteousness covering our sins.

Good teaching although I just want to say, the son was not eternal. The son did not come until he was born of a woman. “This day have I begotten thee”. Sonship had a beginning. The man, Christ Jesus, was the seed of the woman spoken of in Genesis. The word was with God and the word was God. And the word was made flesh. Jesus was both God and man. It is God who is eternal, but the man was begotten being born of a woman in the flesh. Jesus was the root and offspring of David. He was both God, the root, and man, the offspring.

If one boasts in oneself or is filled with pride, that person will die as surely as if aborted. Pride is deadly. It's a warning. Pride brought sin and death into the world. Abortion came afterward. If you live a life of rebellion against God, you are a good as dead. The call to people is to be humble before the Lord. Repent and believe. Jesus came not to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. Accept his payment for your sin. Make him Lord of your life and follow him and his ways. Love and follow him.

Sir, Calvinism is not a gospel; it is simply (though I would prefer to use the term Reformed theology) exegetes the Gospel: That man is dead in his sin, a sinner by birth and by choice, saved only by the sovereign grace of God alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone.
