This happened to me too! Two years of what seemed to be little progress, and then suddenly, at our Christmas concert, they were amazing! I was so proud of them, and now I can't wait for rehearsals to start again this year. Thanks Eva.

Wow. Thank you for your words of wisdom. Just when i needed it. Keep inspiring more conductors like me. Its true that its really frustrating if we dont see amd hear results we want to achieve. ❤

I relate so much what you say in this video! I really struggle with my mixed choir. As you mentioned in one of the videos, music is just a side effect of the human management. And I struggle with it much, however, the last year was extremely successful and we made unbelievable progress even singing 7 voice musical pieces... But I still struggle with my expectations and their motivation / discipline since some of them miss rehearsals and when they come back, already regressed, I do not know how to compensate their absence... and if they miss, they just do not have mood to come. Maybe they want to take pause, and if I reach out and ask them to do this and that, they feel disturbed... I do not know how to make their discipline better and motivate them to be happy to be on the rehearsals and if they are not there, how to make them follow the progress that they have missed... I believe in them and maybe that is why I ask them more than they want to do...

If i am not satisfied with their singing, the first thing that i do is look at myself, maybe my merhod of teaching is not effective or where did i fall short with my teaching.
