Totally agree. I also like the Laurier Heights neighborhood but it definitely not diverse.

I moved from Calgary in Aug 2004, 20 years on..still love Edmonton. Not going anywhere....I live here for beautiful and pleasent Summers. Every Summer is like 4 months of vacation.

people are people, why should there be any association due to skin color? it has never made any sense to me, instead of telling viewers you'd like to see more people with your skin color, tell them to make friends with the local community there. A genetic mutation shouldn't be grounds for who you associate with.

You act like that's something new. This has been going on for hundreds of years. The hindu's started the caste system. White people created white supremacy, which is another type of socio-economic caste system.

@@LokeshThakur thanks for your comment I appreciate it. I cover diversity because all (every single one) of my ethnic clients ask me about diversity when they move here from more metropolitan areas like ontario and bc. I understand that feeling very much. But when buying a home if you want your children to be able to see themselves in their Neighbors, teachers, grocery store, that’s not a problem you can solve by making friends with the local community. It’s really about the diversity present now and its impact on your experience. 💕

Hi Leanna, are you single? You are extremely beautiful. I'm native black American and I was just curious. Thanks.

Why are you discouraging people from moving to Edmonton isn’t that counter productive. I want to send your link to my daughter but don’t want her to feel bad.

So a top reason to avoid Edmonton is because of the lack of diversity in Edmonton's most affluent communities, but it seems like you're promoting segregation by advertising demographic statistics to find people areas "with cultures that they are most comfortable in." It is understandable that people tend to gravitate to communities where their culture is more prevalent, but that's not unique to Edmonton (neither is high grocery costs).
