ULTRA low diesel is the correct type of fuel required by new diesel vehicles. There is a big difference between Low Sulfer and ULTRA Low sulfer fuel. It was confirmed this year that Ultra Low was available in Mexico.

'Available'? All the blogs i've been reading have reported only sporadic or 'no' ULSD in Mexico. Did you encounter otherwise? We are getting a new Mercedes Sprinter van and it can't run on 'LSD'. It only takes 'ULSD'. Hate the idea that because of fuel that we can't visit Mexico. Love your show! Thanks! Bill

tigre2299 I would imagine that at the time that was built, there was low sulfur fuel as a standard in the U. S. A. If you have access to a smart phone or computer, just google "do I need ultra low sulfur diesel fuel in my 1997 ......". That or something like that should get a good answer.

It's wonderful that people from the USA are enjoying themselves in Mexico. As a mexican who lives in Mexico this makes me very proud. I've also been treated kindly everywhere in the USA. Common sense is always the key 😉, also treating others the way you want to be treated.

Neil Schweiner well I've never experienced any problem buddy...also I've been in Seattle and texas and lived in California and still go back to Cali every time I can, and never had any problem related with robberies...I also have gone to Mexico 2 times in recently years first time I was intersected by bunch of guys and robbed my car after crossing border el Paso texas and Juarez about 70 miles after the border in Mexico's side and another time in guadalajara jalisco., someone stole my chopper bike from my dad's garage(cochera) so,we have had experienced different situations but doesn't mean all states you mentioned are messed up or all mexico is messed up...I still love Mexico and not just because I had bad experiences,I would say I hate it,but I feel more secure over here.

I'm still working on it. We've learned that the sun behind us helps for 30 min Q&A videos... otherwise, we're staring into the sun and we get shadows, but I need to adjust the angle next time. Excellent video. I've traveled all around Mexico and love it. I get frustrated with people's misconception that it's unsafe, dirty, or whatever. It's actually a beautiful and magical country... And safe. Thank you for helping to dispell the misconception. P.S. Since you enjoy Napa, you will also have to check out Valle de Guadalupe, a beautiful wine region just south of Tijuana.

Mexico is amazing. I've been 10 or 12 times and the people have always been nice and helpful. Tip for the animals: Take a picture of you with the animal at the vet's office with the sign visible/legible. Then you can show the animal is yours and that you were physically at the vet. Also make sure the vet's office is aware you're traveling so they wont hesitate to provide info if the authorities call to verify.

For your next trip, I highly recommend you to visit these 3 adjoining states in the center of Mexico. Start in the beautiful colonial city of San Luis Potosí and drive to Real de Catorse where the movie, The Mexican, with Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt was filmed. Drive down to Leon, Guanajuato known as Mexico's shoe capital. Than, go to world famous San Miguel de Allende (the city with the most Americans in Mexico). Afterwards visit the City of Guanajuato, the most beautiful colonial city in all of Mexico. Visit Guanajuato during the Festival International Cervantino, you won't regret it, I promise you. Drive southeast and visit another wonderful colonial city, Querétaro. Travel north and explore the ecological region known as the Sierra Gorda. You'll be amazed with the richness of its wildlife and plant life due to its many ecosystems. Enter back in the state of San Luis Potosí and explore la Huasteca Potosina. This rainforest is known for its many waterfalls. A stop at Xilitla and a visit to Las Pozas Garden is a must, and if you are adventurous enough parachute down the Cave of Swallows, an open air pit measuring 333 meters in height.

I also want to mention when going to Mexico I really suggest getting a house or condo thorugh airbnb is much cheaper. Also Uber is your friend. When I go to certain places in Mexico I always take uber to go from point A to B and so on. Some people like taking the bus the old fashioned way, but uber is more reliable in my personal opinion. I remember in my last trip to guadalajara and puerto vallarte I was there for almost a month and I only spent like $37 U.S using uber and this were long road trips.

DEFEND DACA There is NO defense of DACA. Just like in YOUR home, when the party is over, the invited guests MUST LEAVE. It is time to say goodbye and LOCK THE DOOR. Not have them invite the rest of their families (in chain migration) to occupy your home. No, I'm sorry as in YOUR home, they too must leave OR PAY to stay.

Roger didit Well if we're gonna play that game then why are white people still in the United states, they aren't natives to the land lol they invaded it
@rogerdodger8415
@rogerdodger8415 6 жыл бұрын
Chris Segura Invaded? You mean SETTLED. The Indians that were here were not the ORIGINAL owners of the land. EVERY NATION has migrants and settlers. We have immigrants FROM THE ENTIRE WORLD! Just because Indians dotted the landscape it didn't entitle them to ownership of the land. It's not what land you sit on. It's what you have INVESTED in the land that matters. They had nothing.
@Shiro-ii6nw
@Shiro-ii6nw 6 жыл бұрын
Roger didit hahaha, No, the Natives, they were clearly invaded. As a matter of fact they were kicked out of their homes and sent elsewhere to start over. As for DACA, they are paying, within 1-2 years it expires and so they have to pay to renew it. Also your analogy isn’t very good, DACA receiver are more like foster kids, to receive DACA you have to meet certain requirements, have to have been younger then 16 when you came to the US, were under the age of 31 as of June 6, 2012, there are more like can’t have felony or any misdemeanor, but that sets the person to have been basically raised in the US, they have to either be in school or graduated, DACA receiver have nothing to go back to but also have no permanent spot in the US as of now. Finally, you must be a shitty host if you make your guest pay
@rogerdodger8415
@rogerdodger8415 6 жыл бұрын
Ar.In.G So, then in your world view,to occupy the land means to "own" it? Is that they way the world works NOW, or EVER in history? And to what extent? If they live on ten square miles, does that mean they own a thousand square miles? That's ridiculous. And your DACA program was ILLEGAL. It was formulated to bypass congress and put in place as a TEMPORARY (say that again) measure. Now one minute you say the DACA "kids and the next it's people in their thirties! They have a BIRTH country that they came from. Now, that the program of TEMPORARY asylum is over, the are expected to RETURN to that PLACE OF BIRTH. The million plus that are here can APPLY like anyone else. They should be granted NO SPECIAL PRIVILEGE anymore than others that apply for citizenship. This was CLEARLY an attempt to make the USA a more "diverse" IE less white country.

Ok, first of Mexico is a country, not a s singular destination, with one single culture or mindset. Second, apart from "Cartel related violence", Mexico has it's non-compliant citizens just like any other country where goods and valuables are traded. The issue, is that Americans slur so much about other people, nations, and races(of course) that we become clouded by all the sewer talk. Mexico, has cities, more technologically advanced, developed and safe than many cities in the U.S.. Facts like these are hard to get our heads around because of all the filth that's spread and pushed down our brains.

I lived around all Mexicans in Phoenix and you think we talk bad about you? They were the most racists, xenophobic people I have ever met. God forbid black people hear what they say about this, Mexico is a singular destination, he referred to it correctly. You sound like many Mexicans who scream how racist the world is why you are worse than most.

Hi guys I'm Mexican. I exhort you to visit my home state the State of Guanajuato and its cities like the City of Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo, and San Miguel de Allende. Guanajuato is known as the Independence State. The City of Guanajuato holds the Cervantes International Fest of the Arts around October with plenty of artistic events most free to the public. If you want you can watch the movie: Hidden Moon filmed in places like Los Angeles, the City of Guanajuato and the Port of Veracruz. Hey, why don't you try the Kinnetic-Kenyon's, they've been living in Mexico for quite some time.

You're awesome guys! hope you went to Chapala Lake it's 30 min far from Guadalajara, the biggest Lake in Mexico. I was born in Guadalajara but raised up in the Rivera besides the Lake. Also you can find there one of the most large foreign people community. Thanks for sharing your experience down there! Mexico it's great.👌

Hey guys, new to your channel! As a frequent visitor to Merida, Yucatan over the last 15 years, I was very happy to see your experience exactly mirrored our experiences in Merida! Mexico is a wonderful place and I so love the people. Yep, there are places that you just need to stay out of and by doing your research you learn where those are. There are places here in the USA where you need to stay out of as well, so nothing new there! We also never have had an experience where we felt threatened or were uncomfortable. Two experiences with the police and one with the Guard National (Federal Police) were all professional and despite the weapons, went just fine. All the experience with the police and the national folks were as a result of temporary auto tags where the ink on the paper fades quickly in the tropical sun! Much thanks for an honest review (and yes, I had my hackles up over the title as well!) You guys do good work, so keep it up! (Last visit to Merida, Yucatan October and November 2016)

Welcome Dave. 99% of RVers that have done it agree with our comments. Appreciate your perspective to add some credibility for those that want to go, but on the fence. Yet, things change every year and research should be done before each trip.

Great video and thank you for encouraging my wife and myself to take it to the next level in life, to take the risk and commit to the adventure. I am 72 years old my wife is 65 years old and your videos are Inspiration for us to continue an adventurous lifestyle. We've traveled to 35 countries and by seeing how you take on the challenges has given us the courage to do things that we have not felt comfortable doing. The bottom line we are getting out of the comfort zone. What advice would you give us? You're doing it and thank you for what you're doing it is appreciated all.Jerry & Lori

I'm glad you guys are highlighting mexico beyond the typical Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Cancún. Hope if you guys go back to make it to Valle de Bravo, that is about 3 hours from Puerto Vallarta.

Glad to hear you guys had such a great time! I must admit that I thought of so many funny comments during the video that I could have injected. U answered so many great questions and one you left out I guess would be a non starter as being back in the USA the getting back in was not that hard. I knew you would catch the ULSD question? Definitely going to sharing this video with my friend who thinks traveling Mexico is the equivalent entering a bears hibernation den with fresh salmon strapped to your body about the time it wakes up or wearing a "Viva Las Mexico" t-shirt to a T.....p rally.

Important. im from Mexico City. Visit Mexico City and its original towns (Tláhuac, Chalco, Xochimilco), due to the concentration of shops, places of entertainment and security, here people from other states come to live. If you want to travel safely, travel by airport. Avoid using high denomination bills, it is preferable to use them from 20 to 200 pesos. If they are going to come: avoid using jewelry, be ostentatious, use cars considered luxury, driving at night is not safe; use toll roads and buy a map called "guia roji" if you do not have google maps. The municipal police are corrupt, any emergency call 911 or your embassy. Avoid raising people on highways. If you are in a car, avoid using decals or flashy objects. My opinion is that Mexico City is the safest in the country, in terms of violence. You can visit native peoples (Tláhuac, xochimilco, chalco) and feel safe, save on food and lodging. Do not believe everything they say, in general people will not touch you if you do not attack them. And speak in Spanish, please.

They would be surprised if they will use the metro line 12 of Mexico City, because they can go almost anywhere traveling by metro. Come to Mexico City and travel lightly, for example visit National Park Iztapopo, avoid walking as if you did not know the streets or using your giant backpacks because they do not mix with people. Eat clean and enjoy the "Cocina Económica" or "Fonda" for only $ 4 usd on average. They can buy cheap land in Tláhuac, live a quiet life and build their own house, even if the water is scarce as in all of Mexico City. Do not let other people influence you or insert fear. regards

Being from Mexico.... it is CRAZY dangerous from top to bottom! I️ think the wine goggles or innocent nieveness presented made your experience ALOT safer. We have a way of presenting ourselves in our family circle. If you present yourself with confidence and good will. You should be OK.... “ SHOULD BE OK!!!”..... SHOULD..... if you go around and cause attention to yourself or your party..... well.... you will be noticed. Outsiders are always noticed. I’m glad you got to see a side of Mexico that I️ grew up with. A softer side. A happy side. Please be careful on future excursions!

Jahaira E. Roman Of course, it's so beautiful, the landscapes, the weather, very relaxing and a great place to swim and have a lot of fun, I've been there 2 times and both were wonderful and unique, relatively near to tolantongo there are rock paintings and petroglyphs, in the state of Hidalgo there is much rock art, ask the employees about these sites. In Mexico there are 2 geoparks for geological turism, the "Comarca Minera" in the state of Hidalgo and the "Mixteca Alta" in the state of Oaxaca, these are breathtaking, so incredible, you will love them!!! Hope you all enjoy it!! ;)

México is beautiful, people very friendly and hospitality is the best, like all countries you must do a little research about safe places or touristic places, it happens everywhere all countries have their bad side but mostly the good. In my case , i never got assaulted in México but I came to United States in Texas to be specific and i got assaulted by 4 afros and suffered discrimination, crazy right?? I traveled to Dubai and safety is good too but sharia laws makes it strict and its a multinational country , please people don't get confused by the news , learn and make a little research about other countries and cultures, is awesome guys that you make these kind of videos . viva Mexico cabrones!!!
