Hey man, that really means a lot. It's awesome to see that the content is helping people. I've got a ton more planned for the future, and I'm trying to ramp up production a bit if possible. I appreciate you watching and supporting, brother. I hope to see you around, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Will you be making videos like this for Pro Tools or Cubase?
@seanvv7598 Жыл бұрын
no no no, one instrument per pattern. cramming everything into one pattern makes creating breakdowns basically impossible. to each their own but been on FL for over 16 years. I learned the hard way.

Nothing wrong with the one instrument per pattern approach. There are times that I'll do this, but it's few and far between. If anything, I'll introduce a sound to the track by just inserting the sound directly (like a riser, external drum break, etc), while keeping my patterns consistent throughout. I can make a short video explaining if that doesn't make sense. But I understand why some people keep all the sounds separate. Hey, whatever works and keeps us organized, right? 🙂

I don’t understand why studios have so much massive equipment. Can the same things be done without all of that? Or is the result subpar in comparison?

Software has massively improved over the past decade or so. For most artists, a solid home studio is probably enough. However, big studios cover all the bases: great acoustics, the best cables so there is no hum, and those big ass mixer boards are usually solid state logic brand, and those boards (even the small ones) have great pass through sound. So big studios will have more options to customize your sound (mic a over mic b to bring out warmth, etc). But plenty of artists record at home. The challenge is just overcoming the issues that home studios face, like sub optimal acoustics.

How do you like FL 21 bro? Is it worth upgrading to?
@VargoProductions Жыл бұрын
21 is cool. There are some features that I like, such as automatic crossfading when you have two clips that overlap. Really helps with vocal mixing, which is one area FL was behind some of the other DAW's. I may do a video soon about FL 21 and the new features, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for watching, man!
