Theres big money in creating a new invention, or semi changed invention. Thats why this is happening in every avenue. Plus people in China will try anything, They own the machines and have to keep it pumping. But if you make a whole new tool and go and patent it that 1 thing alone can make people multi millionaires. Plus with licensing they dont even need to manufacture anything if its good enough to be implemented in some other product or the military wants it. But when youre the CCP with pretty much limitless pockets, and you own the machines, you can rapidly just knock off any new products coming out and get them to Americans and Europeans before the smaller company can, even if the chinesium is crap quality. Im not sure if you know but a thing the CCP has people doing is just scouring new patents daily to try and rip them off. Thats the appeal of little copyright and IP law. Its TRULY a free market, and sometimes quality doesnt win over the cheap crap.

Some things that might seem useless are excellent for people with disabilities. That last gadget included smt to pull open tabs. To most people thats ridiculous, just pull the tab! But to some people they simply cant for one reason or another, making it excellent for them. Some of the gadgets do just make a problem out of nothing or make the worst gadget possible to solve the problem. Like for example you might want an egg smasher, but if you get one that isnt sharp and practically useless, then it'll most likely end up in the trash...
@WildWildWeasel5 ай бұрын
@@Koselill yeah but remember, your gadget has to work for its intended purpose, not miserable fail, break and become a safety risk, to then end up as landfill. It has to be properly designed for its purpose.

When they stop popping or the pot is full, take away from the heat. They are WAY better for us, and I wouldn't have known about them if I didn't see your video on them!

The jogo brew straw is very similar to a "bombilla", a metal straw used to drink "mate", which is a typical south American infusion. They basically took that and rebranded it.
@vanillablossom3 ай бұрын
Came here to say that as well. I use bomilla for regular loose tea, because I don't like yerba as much (yes, I know all the proper ways to oprepare and drink it, it's just not my cup of tea), but I got the equipment already and I hate having anything floating in my cup while I drink, so I'm still using it, just for other stuff. It's really great utensil and I think it should be recognized as bomilla and not some brew straw. I dislike when people steal from other cultures and sell it as their own invention. I'm not a person of colour, just white, in case anyone wondered it's my culture they stole the bomilla from.

If I remember right, the people who invented it made it as a solution for people who hike and camp. You can carry ground coffee and/or loose tea without worrying about packing out your tea bag or coffee filter trash. You pour the boiling water right over in your cup, drink after it’s brewed and then dump the grounds or leaves right onto the ground because they’ll compost naturally.

I have an idea that you can give a thought to, James. A lot of these plastic products can be easily 3D printed (e.g., fork tongs), and these days 3D printers are fairly easy to learn and inexpensive. You could potentially get a 3D printer like Bambu Lab P1S or X1C and try to print a comparison product for these reviews. You can see if the real thing is better than an equivalent you printed out in 2-3 hours for a few cents. If these companies are going to charge us $10-$20 for simple products, they better be worth the quality. This will also introduce the 3D printing community to your channel! Also, I think the 3D printer could be beneficial for you in general, e.g., for printing organizers and storage boxes, or things like the bag carrying clip.
