Maybe a guess but I suspect they are too young to appreciate the importance of these brilliant videos. They are taking the easy way out of showing people what to do and not what people NEED to do. I was guilty of this many many years ago. I would approach my clientele differently now if I was back there. It's been said before but this channel is pure gold.

OK, I have now watched the intro some 7 times, the stretches 1 time and the outro 3 times, and I must say, Kiwi is the greater actor! She's a natural. She even seemed authentically alarmed by that, ahem, alarm. He he what a great intro indeed! Thank you both for the smiles 😊 💖

Dude she is the best actor. And her "fear" was real. That's my actual alarm and she jumps on me EVERY morning to shut it off haha

@@redefiningstrengthOC Your actual alarm! Woah, if you need that sound to wake up you must be sleeping too well for your own good, or for Kiwi's good, in any case. I bet she would appreciate a little vacation with classical music... 🎼 And this here dudette have now watched the intro some 4 times more 😁

This hip extension is one of the exercises my PT gave me as I am rehabilitating my right leg from a tibial plateau fracture. The video for it is in an app called MedBridge and it shows to stop squeezing (I use a small 8 cm ball to squeeze) and relax your knees once you return to the floor. You said to continue to squeeze the entire time you are performing the lifts, right? I am just curious as to what the difference is. Seems your way may be better so I will try it next time. Just found your channel here and really happy I have! I subscribed and am anxious to watch more videos as I am having a great deal of low back pain as I still have quite a bit of a limp when I walk. I have two plates and 9 pins in my leg and it always feels quite heavy with anything I do just about. Also struggling with some balance, too. Can’t WAIT to try the TFL release! Thanks for being here and your wealth of knowledge!

Thanks Cori these are great! When I do the ‘chest stretch with scorpion’ I can only do these if my arm at the back is straight. Does that make the stretch still effective? I can’t bend my back arm at 90 degrees as you have it. I’m thinking I don’t have the mobility in my shoulders.

Hey Cori.. I have connected here with you before.. now my 32 year as a professional fitness educator.. I had complimented you for the caliber of your exercise presentations.. they continue to be impressive.. in this one.. as you explained toward the end of the knee squeeze/bridge... you cued to '..maintain posterior tilt as you bridge up..' which was not clearly shown in the final side view.. looked like neutral to me.. what am I missing? Thank you.. 😎🙏💫

Love your videos! How long do you recommend holding SMR positions and how long/how many reps do you usually do with the ROM movements?
@redefiningstrengthOC4 жыл бұрын
I hold up to 60 seconds but honestly consistency with it as that first step is key so even 30 seconds adds up. I usually honestly do 30-60 seconds for everything based on the time I have. But even just a 5 minute routine makes a difference!

The Scorpio stretch - left arm on the ground bent at elbow, while right leg crosses over the body- can that arm be stretched straight out? What’s the problem if I can’t bend the elbow laying it flat on the ground? I know I have some back nerve issues that won’t let me do that pose. But if I keep trying maybe it will heal by stretching my nerve/muscle there? Thanks!
