After 6 years of KETO, with a lot of walking every day, just subscribed for a gym to work on some muscle. Thanks for this great information. Greetings from the Netherlands

Recomp episode baby that’s what im talking about 💪🙌thank u👏👍 that’s what ive been on, lost 100lb keto/fasting but sadly also lost tons of muscle & got lose skin, so reverse dieted from 1500 up to now 3200cal day whole foods body builder diet & home gym resistance training past 1 year & have stayed about same weight as after 100lb lost but put on lots of muscle & got first 6 pack of life at 41, yes it’s doable! Focused on upper body, 10 mins zone 5 HIIT hockey (go hawks sorry Sean) a week for cardio. worked out whenever had a chance bc weights at home, so min 10 up to 50 sets a week to failure or 1rir, based on if able to hit same weight/reps next day im recovering so sometimes multiple days in row until unable hit target then rest day. Im sure you’ve done one but maybe an updated episode on supplements/techniques for a sick pump & vascularity like TMG/citruline/glycerol/NO💪

Is the science on walking fasted to burn fat gender specific? Women, especially in perimenopause and later, are more sensitive to cortisol and any fasted activity. Was this factored into the science, or is this advice (like most fitness and nutrition science) based on how men behave?
@AbfittIFBBproАй бұрын
Yes walking fasted can elevate cortisol. If you find it helpful I can share with you I do not let any of my female clients perimenopause or otherwise do anything fasted. Three decades coaching woman I find fasting detrimental to anyone other than possible obese individuals and only because it allows them to use a eating window and learn structure. Now my personal experiences aside Sean does mention to walk in between meals.

@@AbfittIFBBprothanks for sharing. I was going to ask the same question.

Keep in mind your diet. Excess calories from empty calories mess with your hormones. Eliminate sugar processed foods and seed oils. Eat a whole foods diet and you will reap benefits
