I turned 53 this year, (on my 50th birthday) my girls and I got together and went roller skating (more-less) for nostalgia and to have fun! But, we had such a great time, that we have kept it going over the past few years and now we get together regularly, and our “girls night” revolves around roller skating! It’s so fun and we’re getting physical exercise at the same time!! 🛼

I have got knee sprain in my left knee and an ACL tear in my right knee. The orthopedic has told me to do rehabilitation training for my left sprained knee and the pain has to be tolerable while training for the left knee. Any advice if knee sprains ever heal? And, Should I go for ACL surgery for my right knee or not?

Thank you for spreading this message. You’re so right that we have absolutely normalized poor health. And also the medications for everything. Just look at the way some people react when you say you’d rather change your diet than to take a pill. Some people act like it’s silly! They think the pills are the one true cure for these diseases! It’s crazy. In 2018-2019 I was eating the healthiest of my life and walking every single day and I felt great. Over the past few years my health has been on the back burner..it has been terrifying me, I get really bad health anxiety. Now I’m determined to learn how to cook and cook good quality real food. Also about honey, once I started eating local honey every day my allergies have greatly improved. Allergy pills never really did anything for me. And there’s people I know that take allergy pills regularly, but still they admit that the pills don’t seem to really work!!

Thank you for this interview. I just found out my Lpa is at 211. They told me it shouldn’t be over 75 so in high risk for cardiac events disease and stroke. I am terrified! Basically was told continue living healthy lifestyle - it’s genetic- they don’t know much about it yet. 😢😢 I don’t eat red meat, not overweight no smoking - I exercise - eat lots of fruit and veggies - not sure what else to do 😢

Casey said the root cause of every chronic illness is damage to the mitochondria. No. The root cause is what caused the damage to the mitochondria, and she knows it’s the carbohydrates and yet she said keto is not the answer. Come on Casey, can whole grain cause insulin resistance? You know it does.

Shawn, I have been working hard to increase my daily protein. 2 weeks ago I got laid off from a decent paying job. I mostly only consume organic food. I love the protein I get from organic Greek yogurt but it’s $7+ a container where I am. Question, should I only eat Greek yogurt if it’s organic or is the protein intake better. Due to costs non organic Greek is half the price. I’m struggling. I have 3 little kiddos (4 and under). I’m not even 4 months postpartum. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

I met with someone for a meeting and their office was right next to a park. So, the man asked if we could do a walking meeting. He said that the company incentivized their employees to do walking meetings and gave them a discount on their healthcare premiums. I thought that was such a neat thing for them to do! Everyone at the office was in great shape 🎉

Carnivores by nature rid the animal kingdom of the sick, diseased, and weak animals. I am waiting for the factual proof that humans are not designed to rid nature of the diseased, sick, and old animals for dinner. Instead there are powerful financial interests determined to keep people confused about nutrition. Optimal nutrition should be the number 1 goal!

Hello Shawn, I grew up poor with malnutrition and government assistance like you. I remember wanting Lucky Charms from the food pantry at the church instead of some bland cereal! I have been addicted to sugar & processed foods like cereal since I can remember. Until I found eating a ketogenic lifestyle. Here's a quick summary of changes that might help someone who's reading the comments. My name is Christine & I'm a 50-year young perimenipause woman who's in remission from chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was diagnosed at the age of 27 after giving birth to my youngest son. I was on a weekly biologic injectible medication called "Enbrel," with other prescriptions like Celebrex, Methotrexate, Tramadol & Prednisone at times that made my immune system sick and my body obese & weak. I started eating a whole food ketogenic lifestyle in September 2019, and I'm mainly carnivore now. This way of eating is the only thing that has helped my weight loss of 65 lbs, severe pain, inflammation, high blood pressure, anxiety, and other metobolic health conditions. Also, I started implementing lifting heavy weights, strength training & balance exercises 3-4 times a week last April. It has been a new life for me! You can seek your true health every day, starting with what you eat/drink & don't eat/drink. Peace & Health, Christine Peters

Luckily my kids were babies when those grad students published their study of the rats that ate the cereal box being healthier than the ones that ate the corn flakes. 😮 Now we only buy cereal for vacations and camping. Favorite whole food breakfast to fuel my teenagers is a baked sweet potato (microwaved if needed in a hurry) with either a fried egg or some pinto beans (which I cook in bulk and always have in the fridge for burritos). Add some cheese and salsa and they can’t complain! Thanks for all the good info delivered in a fun way!
