That "how many Olympic medals have you won?" was savage😭😂

Really good advice. Buy you don't need tech and a big team to track your performance - is your kit clean and packed the day before each session? - did you eat enough protein? - did you eat enough veg / fruit / salad? - are you hydrated? - do you sleep enough? - do you get to training 5 minutes early? - are you getting stronger? - are you getting faster? - are you more explosive? (standing long jump) - for team sports - do you know your team mates better? Simple stuff. Transformative

Perfect timing for this video! I was having a really good pre-season and took a well-earned 4 days off, thinking that it would help to recoup over a small holiday. I now feel I have fallen behind and that I will not be ready for my upcoming trials, even though I have already put down good performances for my other club and trained more than ever. Journalling took a back seat over the last couple of weeks so that may be where the problem lies!

For the past few weeks, i have been keeping track of my fitness and performance in training and seeing the incremental growth makes me feel really good and feels like I am moving one step closer. The gains are small but mentally it creates a big impact. This video gave me new things to track and I really recommend everyone to try this. Great video sam, always behind you💪.

Hi Sam Sorry I’ve been away for a while, illness. As a former policeman, “collecting the evidence” resonates very loudly. Sometimes it’s very deep therefore difficult to locate, that’s why the contemporaneous and honest nature of journaling is so effective! Superb video that I readily identify with and encourage athletes to do. Most don’t though and are loosing out on a hugely successful practice. It’s what police officers do every day in a forensic like way for the courts. In journaling you are giving evidence to yourself!!

I‘ve been journalling for the past years and it is not doing any difference. I really recommend it though, but for other areas. In football, at least you can‘t just zone-out mid-game, so you need to work on your mindset and reactions to errors.

hey , i have a doubt is it neccesary to go gym or workout for getting abs and developing physique while in teen age ... (14 yrs?) just for football? or is ok to be skinny and just focus on my play style
@im_boundless6102 ай бұрын
If ur skinny focus on the gym since ur a teen but also make sure to add technical drills with the ball
@iainmcclure4162 ай бұрын
Defined abs are usually a sign of dehydration Forget that stuff. At 14 you have so much physical development ahead - most young men aren't physically the finished article until late teens or early 20s. I put on muscle dramatically from 19-21. Concentrate on skills and mental attitude - and you'll boss your sport, bro
