I dislike the continual automation they implemented on a timer. It makes zero sense to me. I'd rather be guaranteed to have items in stock because I set a limit to craft them until I hit X amount not to craft 30 every 30 minutes. Is there something I'm missing?

Keeping Xamount in stock at all times is MUCH better than craft Xamount every Xmin.. Makes literally no sense to craft on a timer compared to stock based.

glad to see your doing soulmask now, can you do a video on how the base comfort works? and mood for the tribesman. if they dont have specific mood traits how else can i raise there mood? working on my base comfort, im at level 2, but its a big base so i question if im gonna need lighting in the darker areas, and if floors count as ceilings? thanks in advance

why even bother with grind setings if the automation gets rid of it on its own?

Because of time. Automate anything you want if they go out and knock down all the trees around your base and you get 6 logs and it takes 20 for them to respawn and you need 10 to make a wall well... Think about it lol

Well when you set a value above the alloted amount, ie. 1-3 but you say set it to 5, it reverts back to 3 after saving the settings so? Not sure if that even works.

Not sure if you gonna see this, but i tried to raise single player settings over recommend by typing in the custom number (10) and after clicking confirm and going back its only raised to max recommend. Tried multiple times 2.

My only turn off is both male and female models looks too plain and they stand too stiff.😂 I hope they improve on the eye candy. Apart from that I'm rather satisfied of the amount of play it has, a little Valhiem and Conan.

I can't change crafting speed multiplier bigger than 5, if I input higher value in it manually, it just changes into 5. I'm playing single player game, and crafting time is really gimping me in things like smelting that takes forever and of course everything stops when I quit playng.

These values can only be increased past the max on a dedicated server, Options? Rent or setup a private dedicated sever on your pc via steam CMD.

What does the "Time Flow Multiplier" do, default it all set to 24/48 for every difficult, I wonder if i would set it to 12 or 6 does that mean the day flows slower and having longer day and nights? Or does that do anything else?

Yes...when you lower the time flow slider ( sliding left ) it makes your days and nights longer. You will have to experiment with what feels right for you. But it definitely can give the game a more realistic and immersive feel.

Will try this, I've been wondering what the closest settings to the last beta would be for the "easy" mode that was in that. It felt perfect in terms of levelling and gathering! Also, if you want to make a new base somewhere is there a trick? Maybe later u get something to help? but I am already dreading the thought of moving lol. Especially as I have 10 tribes people already lol. I wonder can you tell them to travel somewhere? Hmm may have to look as I haven't tried anything like that yet. I'm wondering if it's best to make the 2nd base and then set the work order up for the old tribesmates so they move? Assuming they can get there and not die haha

There is a portal you can unlock about mid game. You'd have to build one at each base.

First off it's tilde, not tilda. Secondly that isn't an apostrophe he showed but a grave accent. Thirdly the grave key and tilde key are the same key with pressing it (at least on most english keyboards) giving you a ` and shift pressing it giving you ~. People call it the tilde key mostly because the grave accent is pretty rare to use for English and tilde has a few uses, such as representing approximately in math.

Yeah same here. One cannot crank a setting (such as crafting speed) up to beyond what they have set as their max on the slider it seems.

definitely helps to set a storage chest for each category, or even more then 1. and that way your tribesman put things into chests. you can also set a chest next to a workbench and choose specific items to only go in that chest. example: put a chest next to the loam, and only select linen, rope, twine etc etc.

As many settings as you changed, why not just select easy mode? Obviously if easy mode doesn't make it easy enough, you can change settings to make it easier. If the goal is to make the game easy but choose normal mode so you can say you aren't playing in easy mode, that's a bit silly.

Time grind isn't "hard" He didn't change damage dealt to mobs, didn't change damage taken, just changed the garbage that is wasted time. Challenge should be from Challenging content, not this kind of stuff.

I love the people that think grind equals difficult lmao. I hate to tell you this but it doesn't. There is nothing hard about cutting down a tree then waiting 20 min for it to respawn so you can cut it down again just to craft one wall. It's just time consuming. This is why I didn't mess with most of the settings. Please learn the differences between a difficult mechanic and one designed to eat time.
