So true. Never met a doctor who had time to really ask any question other than where does is hurt. I wish they teach the medical students how to be humble and caring as a doctor than keep looking at the watch to finish a prescription in a record time.

I get up at 6am,its important to take time for yourself before the house wakes. I get up make my bed, open the window, say thanks for another day, take 15 minutes to meditate and clear the mind, because the mind is so busy when you wake up. There are no problems only in the mind. Clear the mind and get on with the day. Make time.

That's nice Joseph 🎉 I think that's good that you admit that you actually pray to the ALMIGHTY GOD. That's what I would like to hear from more people, NOT that they just speak to the universe. THAT'S a cop out. The Bible says that it is clearly seen from what is around us that these things are made. THEY didn't just arrive. NO more than a house that is stunningly beautiful just arrived, it was obviously made by a builder, someone designed it and built it. SO God Himself says that "it is inexcusable for people not to acknowledge by the things made that He exists.." (ROMANS 1:18~32) ESPECIALLY PARAGRAPH 20 SHOWS AND USES THE WORD INEXCUSABLE. (New World translation of the Holy Scriptures.) Sincerely Tammie 🙋🏼💕

I so agree. I love reading my Bible in the morning. And I enjoy to exercise and think about my Bible as I do. God is a wonderful way to start the day. Completely removes any worries as I cast all my cares on Jesus. My father, who's 81, does the same thing. He's very fit, incredibly alert (like he's in his twenties) and as calm as calm can be because he knows Jesus.

I do start it still in bed while waking up. I put myself in God's hands and read the daily readings. In prayer I go through my to do list for today and adjust the priorities and then check the weather (for clothing). Then I stand, speak a small morning prayer including some simple movements like opening my arms, kneeling and bowing and only then do I start my bathroom routine.

Thank you, I don't like doing exercise, but it's really easy to stand and swing my arms from side to side, then swing my arms above my head, then I swing one leg back and forth, then the other leg. I then do 6 squats and lastly I do 6 side squats on each leg. This has tightened my belly, given my shoulders more movement and shrunk the space between my legs. I've been slowly dying from ovarian cancer for the past 2 years, but chemo is keeping me alive even though I always end up in hospital from having an allergic reaction to it, I'm now on my 7th type of chemo. My oncologist has been trying to get me to do exercise because cancer patients do better when they exercise, but I was always in pain until 6 weeks ago when the hospital put me on steroids' and for the first time in two years I was pain free. So I started swinging my arms and legs to rebuild my muscles and now I feel so much better. My cancer is never going to stop coming back because I inherited a faulty BRAC 1 from my mother who died of the same cancer, but swinging my arms and legs makes me feel better inside and it's helping me to cope with having cancer.

Every morning, first thing I do is put on makeup. It's a ritual. Cleaning my face, pretty colors, decided what kind of day it is. After, I make breakfast and brew my own coffee. That's my time. It's not rushed, it is wholly mine. In times of high work or life stress, I'll journal to remind myself that I am in control, my life is mine and I can handle what's coming toward me

Every a.m. wake up, meditate 15 min to a half hour with my favorite YT gurus Mooji and Tara Brach, do breath work and OM chanting, then do bed yoga stretches and finally say my prayers (with intention) for a beautiful, peaceful day, gratitude, self love and forgiveness and behavioral consciousness: extending kindness and helpfulness to others Sets me up for a day of deep inner peace, fun and happiness. I also say “I pray for the willingness to accept everything that happens to me with grace and gratitude.” Can’t live without doing any of those things now, including 15-30 minutes of Pilates. All of this feels sooo good.

The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

Dr. Chatterjee, this is EXACTLY what I've started doing in my life again. Already been doing the warm beverage and Journaling for a while, but now am starting to re-incorporate morning movement, which I tend to do in evenings. I also do timed eating. A little too soon to see results, but am expecting the best!👍🏼💕

We certainly need more doctors that incorporate taking care of your mind as much as taking care of body.

You have bridged the knowing gap ---doing gap brilliantly! Repetition rewires your brain and your body creates a new program, performing as autopilot. Discipline! I myself is a 76 years old senior GP, convinced that simple, smart selfcare is key. I hope young doctors now can learn and manage their own stress and have your tool 3 M in their toolbox. I believe I can live younger longer. When you gave a lecture in Stockholm I was there and bought your first two books. I also gave you a note about redox signaling molecules when you hurried to catch your flight.Thank you for your inspiration, passion and practical approach. Winners never quit ! Love and Blessings from Lajla Olsson, Sweden.

Didn't know about the knowing gap - doing gap. I've always had the challenge of reading& knowing a fair bit about wellness & mental health related but not being disciplined about making it a practical part of my life ! Thanks for this, Lajla
