Real fact : Employees are loyal to money and money keeps them going. Options 3 has always been implemented the day they had joined.

In an employer:employee relationship the remuneration absolutely buys loyalty. The only ones who deserve unconditional loyalty is family and even there its not a given.

​@@curiously-cinnamon @curiously-cinnamon There can be other reasons for the employee to stay loyal, but they are in addition to the remuneration. Not separate from it. The correct answer is a combination of 2/3. Ask the employee why they're leaving. If you can accommodate their issues and correct them without disturbing the organization as a whole then do it and the employee will stay back. If the employee has decided he/she wants a change and will definitely leave no matter what....then option #3 is the way to go.

I opt option 2 because if they are getting higher amount it says they thay are skilled and talented and they deserve for the amount they get outside. If you loose a talented employee how can you run a business or deliver projects with the avg working employees. You need quality people in the project to deliver quality work to the clients. 👍.

Your answer is right but in some situations not in all. What if the company is really paying less? What about the company's politics? what about the toxic managers ? Right here is the thing: - hire an employee, monitor his performance - if he does bad, pmp, released from job, if he does well, group him with another or couple of employees, make him mentor and ask him to teach stuff to the other employees- link to his performance if he denied to teach. - don't give him rise or promotion, even if you just give him a peanut rise. - ofc he gets fed up and decides to leave, then put in 2 more employees and bring them upto speed and keep it ready for his exit! - in corporate world, if you are technically strong they will break you down into nano particles, while, if you are strong in communication and people skills, then you get promoted even when you aren't even pulling your weight in the team, cuz hey, you would be leading two hardworking donkeys to cover for your work as well! Popularity is everything in this god created world, be it at office or as an influencer among general public! What is morally right is not right, but, what a popular person does is always right! He has his moronic followers to vouch for him!

If you choose option 3 then you are trasitioning from 1 underpaid and under appriciated employee to another underpaid and under appriciated employee who will also quit in some time. Option 4- see why your best employee does not want to work for you anymore and change that.

What will you do if your business gets a better offer from a different client ? Wont you take it? You would. The same theory applies for employees. If your competition pays more then you out pay them . Dont use loyalty as a reason to be cheap and as a way for the boss to earn more. No such thing as loyalty when it comes to money

Underpaid always does not mean "No Loyality", Management should change their money mindset first.. If Management talks about profit, it means Money only, nothing else. The same is not fairly paid to Underpaid employee. If any employee leaving his/her job for the Underpaid reason, Management like you always thinks "This person is No Loyal towards company"... Why should always Management talks about money? Why not employee? Employee has all the authority to decide their career and payscale. It's upto the Management whether to offer or leave.. There is nothing to do with "Loyality" here. It's pure business.. do understand this first.

Option 3 is wrong, you yourself is an employeer thats the reason you don't understand, we all work for money, our parents spend huge amounts in college and schools only so we can grow upto self sustainable. If the wage is not enough to support my family i will happily quite the company how i did just few months back, i have 2x pay now and also i will leave this company when needed . In US people are happy because they are paid well, but due to government taxas and inflation they had to stay on paychecks
