However, my question would be, how do I look for the perfect setup? I am either too late or too early for the setup. Are there some criteria or some bot or some setting finding the crossing of the MA20/MA200 to ease the search? How do you go through 1000x of shares and find the setting? Or you only have a few dear ones and just go over and over, again and again, to see if one is ready? Or do you work with signals?

Oliver, on your PYPL example, the stock is crashing down to the 200 mA, when one might expect it to bounce off the 200. If the stock were to bounce off the 200, do you wait for the bounce to occur before you cover your short and then buy the upside to play the bounce? The question becomes how do you trade a bounce off a moving average to avoid getting burned if the bounce does not occur. Comments?

This works for swing trading too. As he stated, the 2 min chart is just faster. You can learn this approach faster on a 2 minute chart, because you receive more data faster. However conceptually and realistically the concept will work on longer time frames. It will just take longer for some of the patterns he's discussing to form.

It's the Moving Average indicator. It's pretty basic so you shouldn't have a problem finding it on whatever app/site you use to look at the market. Just add two of them and change their length to 20 and 200.

You can make 2 cents (mostly lose) in 2 min charts sweating bullets. Waste of time. Your biggest gains will alway be on the Daily and less stressfuly. Big Money that makes the Markets move is much more obvious in the Daily Charts.

The thing is he is legitimately a trader. Most of his stratgeies are like many others in the market and require large amounts of capital and discipline. The only thing he may be selling is a job if you can follow his rules. Beleive it or not theres no magic formula the way it ou make money consistently is by having discipline and making massive numbers of losing trades with good risk management strategies. There is statistical advantages with numbers but on any single trade anything can happen. So just go home youll never make it
