I followed along while I had my steam window open and I was watching an update being installed. I started at 12 MB/s disk usage, when I was done it was at 120 MB/s disk usage. The update went from eta 1 hour to 11 min. Thanks 👍🏾

side note for peripheral apps on start up, you only need to enable if the device does not have onboard memory. My razer viper V2 pro has onboard memory so i disable synapse on startup, however for logitechs mice they have onboard memory but ghub does not change the onboard memory and needs to be open, I much prefer using logitechs other software called onboard memory manager.

Thanks. I did this to both my windows 10 machines - one my desktop with a 5900x, the other an old dell with a sandy bridge i7. The difference was maybe not as noticeable on the Ryzen desktop, but it sure made a difference for the Dell laptop I'm using at work. So much pointless shit running when you just want to get work done. I'm actually surprised how much disabling visual candy helped the Dell. It was good before, but now it feels so much better, especially considering sandy bridge is now 10 years old.

Just use build 1511 - 1809 for less hassle to disable everything lol, they're light on resources. I'm currently using build 1809. My pc specs: Gigabyte 965P-S3, Q8400 OC'd to 3.20GHz and 8GB DDR2 with HD7770. Most games runs pretty fine/acceptable so far 😄

Doing the tips and tricks that you had in this video, one thing no one talks about, pc performance with a 70" 4k tv. I understand i may not get more than 60fps with a 60 hz tv. but i am trying to understand why my fps are slow with a i7 8700k, 2080 gpu with 8gb of ram and 64gb of ram for computer memory. I would try using a monitor but i like playing my games on a large tv. the tv is a Roku onn, it may not be the best out there, but i like playing my games now on a 4k tv, and the colors are awesome, Do you have any suggestions. I know i may not get more than 60 fps, but i should be able to get to run a lot better with games. I usually play Breakpoint, Borderlands, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed and other top games with graphics. I love graphics, especially on a big screen.

i would turn the graphics settings in the nvidea seettings where it says gsync turn that off..... and th en within all your games make sure there not frame rate capped... and then again within the nvidea settings make sure to not run the auto optimizer it will cap fps... even tho you aree on a 60hz tv ... you can get as many fps as you want and the only thing that happens is you input lag is reduced and you end up with tearing on you tv due to the low 60hz refresh.. but if you can hit 300 fps in a game just leave it uncapped .... again ndiea settings make sure nothign is capped and gsync is off

Literally all those settings make no difference unless you are on a dogshit setup. It might add up for some people but most with a decent setup it barely makes a difference tho a lot of these things are annoying and should be turned off for sanity anyways but some of those settings you recommended to turn off will make someone using an Oled more likely to have burn in
