At least you found a bit of colour for your efforts, everywhere is dring up. It will soon be all gone, especially over this weekend and Monday as it is supposed to be 43° Celsius 🥵. Time to play inside in the air-conditioned comfort. Good on you for giving Luke a shout out "Gold Fever Reliever", he would have loved a bucket of cons. Cheers Andy Poverty Prospecting Australia 🇦🇺 👍

Thanks for taking us out in that gnarly creek. Nice picker! The lead is a good sign, too. 😊 Not sure which region you were in, but it did look a bit worked over. Good to see hi-banker's first work out. I guess you'll end up tweeking it a bit as you go. Looking forward to your podcast next year.

On the outskirts of Melbourne, that creek was one of the only Hydro-Sluiced creeks in the area. Like most of them in that gold field, it's been well worked. Thanks for watching.

Good pivoting prospecting, Andrew. I'd wonder what the wombat tailings might hold?! Sandy slurry that'd filled an old side feeder gully maybe, a look uphill over the rosd may show, but in winter when the danger noodles are keeping warm in their holes. Dry concentrates gathering ftom dried up spots is a good idea, in the dry, the rocky paving section upstream may hide cracks, drop-offs and crevices, if they are visible from the edges, or poked about for with a long screwdriver. Rocks dropping off but not accumulating can hide nuggets, and where they're ground into finer pieces is our thinking. Those ledges with deep undercutting shows the regrowth if the creek had been monitor hydro-jetted to bedrock, but they'd missed a few chunky and roly-poly pickers as shown. Good gold good luck with "travelling north", I don't remember the film with Gra-Gras, from the play by was it Williamson, it wasn't on our HSC reading list anyhoo. I'll of course sub to the podvod on the 'Tube. Good luck there too. Only hsd just regaled the CBK with Ned in Rowville heisting the Post Office, a stolen leather mail pouch off the train suspiciously coincidental in 1878, Chinese in Beaconsfield, Kingsford-Smith's mates building a hangar with his name on at Berwick Airfield 1938, though he went into the sea three years earlier off Burma. Good luck, and season's best, stay cool, hydrated, and in good company. Gabi, Narre Warren.

@@gabivalla6279 that creek holds a lot of history and needs a lot more exploration when it gets water in it, I would take cons from there but the vertical banks are hard enough to climb out without adding buckets to the climb haha i will just wait for water! I am going to a different gold field this week that will have water and a change of scenery! Thanks for all the support and comments too Gabi appreciate it.

Check out mattscrevicetools.com.au/ they are around the same price as others on the market.
@anothergoldprospectorАй бұрын
Just spoke with Matt, they are $995 which IMO is a very good price for what you get, 10 inch, backpack Highbanker with storage for pump/battery and hose and so well made.
@goldfeverrelieverАй бұрын
I can confirm the robustness of Matt's highbanker. I've seen them in person and they are well thought out.
