So, THIS song, Anna Stesia, was what got me HOOKED on Prince. This led me to the whole Lovesexy album (& this concert), which in turn took me down the rabbit hole that is his catalogue & I still haven't come back out (not that I want to)! & it always makes my heart so happy to hear Prince sing about God! gotta watch the whole tour, the first act is all sex and lust and ends with this and the second act is all the joys of spirtuality. this is the closest he got to traditional gospel. growing up 7th day adventist he wasnt exposed the traditonal black church. one of his first overtly spirtiual hits. songs like Lets Go Crazy, I Would Die 4 U amd Purple Rain were hidden christian songs
