I really enjoyed your discussion of the decision to not cap the super pocket. It forces anyone capped behind you to destroy you. Since there is a lot of luck in the early game, it’s a very risky move.

Came down to how lucky Pete's rolls were. Yellow saw that was his play and got the favorable (for him) rolls. Pete lost a lot of troops on some of those rolls, with a little more juice in the tank he might've survived.

Despite being unlucky in the end with the rolls and the cards, you killing red at the end was one of the best plays I have seen from you Pete, and I have seen quite a few. A true MASTER play! Or is it GRANDMASTER play, but you know what I mean. That kill felt better than winning the game in my eyes!

It's all speculation with the fog. From time to time on these settings I misread the board and get things very wrong.

I'm a bit late to the party, but you can be certain that he did take the north as a result of the territories being taken, but far more telling is the changing number of caps that the leader holds. It goes down and then back up, and that is only possible with all the caps in the north

35 minutes in, yeah red has the opportunity to cap the territory right above it, especially after seeing you NOT cap in the alternative cap choice you didn't make this game. You ever wonder if you could do a rematch system and see if players would make the same choices for cap-choices. 42 the real good work was you pete, forseeing you might get card blocked. Such high level plays here. What a brilliant show! Excellent Ending!
