I was actually kind of excited to go back to original Animal Crossing game on the gamecube. I liked when decorating took a back seat and for me I mostly just ended up catching bugs and fish, talking to villagers, selling stuff, and pulling out weeds. It’s just relaxing and I don’t need to play the game for too long.

I love Animal Crossings... it's like coming home 🏡 To date it's the game I've racked up the most hours. You're making me want to play again watching your video. I may have to take a break from Doreamon and pop my head in there. I don't think they need a new game yet, they have been absolutely fantastic in putting new things, adding and keeping up with pretty much everything. Loved your video, thanks 😊

I miss what Animal Crossing used to be. It feels like New Horizons borrows too much from Pocket Camp, turning what's supposed to be a relaxing townie simulator into a stressful crafting game. The games that came before New Horizons had way more personality and attention to detail to them. I miss when you could come across Kicks randomly in the city, or walk into Lief's very own store. I don't like how both of those characters, and many other things, have been completely reduced to a weekly schedule.

I miss a lot of things. I miss Gracie and the Nook store upgrades.. I miss Tortimer's island. I miss rude and sassy character dialogue from the older games.

Yes but I feel like I’m the only who feels New Horizons didn’t really have that much of a long lasting gameplay. New Leaf felt much more engaging to me. I think 2026/7 is what Nintendo will target for the next AC game. Since it is a community heavy game, they will want their next console to stabilize in the market first.

I actually still play New Leaf every day.

I was missing it a bit, and picked up Happy Home designer for 3DS from a second hand store. I'm really having fun (HHP was my fav) and it's making me appreciate NH more

the timing of this video is hilariously coincidental. last week i started playing new horizons. as every six months or so i like to decorate my island bcuz i lost complete motivation in 2020 after i flattened it 😭 been working my way back but its hellll

I personally loved amiibo Festival, as it was a more relaxing Mario Party title, which could get hilarious depending on who you're playing it with. Happy Home Designer/Paradise are also great spin-offs, and I loved City Folk and New Leaf a bunch... I miss certain items that got lost with New Horizons. I would love a new AC game, if it brings back the old items from NL (including the mini games on the Island) and kept certain aspects of NH (like customization of the land).

Well I personally can't miss it because I just played it this morning for at least two and a half hours. I need to stop playing to miss it. And not only that Capri Sun has an Animal Crossing New Horizons drink in stores and I want to go to Target tomorrow to get some so again I'm simply too involved with the island life to miss it.

I like it a lot, but honestly im more excited coming back to new leaf. I think its overall a better game for daily play sessions. It has a bit more stuff to do and conversations to have. New horizons kinda gets boring it that aspect very fast, sadly

I have played every day since it was released in 2020. I do my dailies and still switch things about on my island which is an all bunny island I don’t want weeds or roaches so I maintain my island every day.

AC is a great game series but as fun as New Horizons was when it was active I felt burnt out after doing everything(don't want to lose my stuff so can't restart) & it kind of dying down once the updates stopped. A part of me wants to play the old games again but I'm busy & sometimes feel hesitant cause New Leaf & New Horizons have good stuff but my favorite game feels bare bones(also stuff is locked behind multiplayer being used to unlock it & I have no friends that play Wild World) but sometimes it's best to go for something simple. I don't really want to play Pocket Camp cause I've done almost everything & I don't want to deal with micro transactions cause some times I make myself feel like I need to use them especially to keep up with some things I really want from limited time events.(Huge reason I quit the game Harvest Town that & it lead to me hoard too much cause I wasn't sure what I could just get rid of & what I needed cause I had to make so much) A part of me wishes there was a way to merge the best parts like Wild World's writing, billboard & friend system, stuff from New Leaf & stuff from New Horizons. I'd say more but I ramble a lot & had to remove trying to describe ideas better left in a Tumblr post about merging stuff & it's probably ok stopping here as it is. At best I just wish for a AC game that's a mix of Wild World, New Leaf & New Horizons that adds the ability to play Happy Homes without going to a separate game.

I haven't played for a long time, I played so much and now it has become boring. I don't really like playing in real time, I fast forward all the time, and really think it is sad I can't have more than one save. I don't want to destroy what I have built so I will never play again. I would love to have another animal crossing game, with less of a price point (mainly if we can only have one save). Replay ability is what makes a game worth the higher prices.

Probably have a new one for new switch 2 more than likely. Probably have a animal crossing and pokemon edition one. Makes since as they are like you said cash cows
