I've realized with me why sometimes I seek negative attention is because I know what to expect with negative attention I know how people react when they're mad or annoyed versus positive attention where someone is loving you and showing you care I feel that is harder to trust and to predict what comes next with it so I stick to what I know what is more easier to predict and to trust.

I find these episodes so satisfying sometimes, I'm surprised that they don't have many many more views I find the questions and the answers comforting, down to earth and very human

Concerning question four about eye contact - when I was little it was common where I lived for adults to demand eye contact when reprimanding a child. I remember that as very intimidating, and I wonder if that too can have an impact on our comfort/discomfort at having eye contact later on in life?

Kati, you missed the boat on #7. At age 46 the person, if female, is in peri-menopause, or menopause and there are very real hormonal impacts of that. Weight gain is part of the process, recovery from eating disorder isn't going to change the process of menopause and that's what she should be bringing up with her care team.
