I started having an issue with underboob sweat and odor, especially in the summer. I tried a travel/mini size of Lume and applied it under my breasts. Apparently the AHA in it caused a VERY painful and severe rash in that delicate area. I will never use Lume again after such a horrific experience. I’ve also seen many comments here about bidets. My caveat with those is people must make sure they’re patting themselves dry down there after using one! All that extra moisture in an area that is usually kept covered/in the dark so to speak, can be a breeding ground for bacteria, odor, etc!

Cornstarch? How? Does that work?
@mahaylamonk16854 ай бұрын
@@9Steps2Uglyit’s the same idea as baby powder, since corn starch is a very commonly found main ingredient in baby powder, but using just corn starch on it’s own can give the same exact results without all the extra unnecessary additives and ingredients such as fragrance. baby powder and corn starch are also good alternatives for dry shampoo. i use regular cornstarch as for dry shampoo and it does so much better than any other dry shampoo you can buy at the store. & once again, it’s A LOT more affordavle than most dry shampoo you can buy on the market right now. but just be careful bc if you have darker hair, then add cocoa powder so it doesn’t leave a white cast/white residue.

And it has gotten worse since turning 50. I have a very sensitive nose and I have worked with individuals who smell funky or worse. So I hope like hell I never smell and take steps to reduce any body odor. I use the unscented Lume stick down below and never have any smells - thank God. But if I know I'm going to be out, hot & sweaty, I'll wear an actual big, puffy pad which will absorb more than just a panty liner! The mandelic acid in the deodorant and the body wash will help to lighten hyperpigmentation whether it's on your face (yes, I get the unscented body wash and use it on my face... mandelic acid for the win!) or your underarms. And for those of us who adore more manly scents, try Lume's mens line, Mando, for the most fabulous scents. Bourbon Leather is absolutely addictive!!! And the new deodorant spray from both lines is excellent as well. You won't be disappointed!!

I'm a professional singer and pretty much allergic to perfume, even though I love it; a lot of singers really find it irritating. Well, a few years ago I had a few colleagues tell me I smelled like garlic, which really made me feel awful, because I couldn't smell it on myself at all! But apparently it gets into your pores. We used to cook with onions and garlic a LOT so in order to not have offensive odors, I pretty much cut them out of my diet. The other thing I do now is carry mouthwash with me so I can rinse my mouth out after meals, coffees, etc, when on the go. Now I feel way less self conscious about how my breath and body smells. Even without perfume!

Sweetie, I love you! Yes, you are a little over the top! I like the tip about spraying your hairbrush, though! Thankfully, I don't sweat under my arms or have body odor; I prefer to be clean, but I rarely use scented products, or perfume. It's much more strict here in Nova Scotia (I'm still at Mom's), but also in Ontario, many places are considered scent-free spaces, Marlena! It is really frowned upon for people to use scented hygiene products, or wear scents such as perfume, etc. in malls, businesses, schools, hospitals, churches, etc. I sometimes use a titch of perfume, but I stick to ones that are not too strong, and use those that don't last for an extensive time. Have an awesome weekend Beautiful, Sherrey🍓🍓🍓

Since when? I live in Ontario and you can wear perfume. I do, I just don’t overspray.

Marlena, first i love YOU! Aways such great information, and i still say your buffing brush is my favorite of all time! I have been using lume' since i first heard about it. I do not care for the sweat contro...it feels stiffer and doesn't have the original fragrance. My favorite is Clean Tangerine but will now try Cool Cucumber! DO NOT TRY the Peony...pew! Lol ❤ Have a beautiful weekend!

I used to have a hard time with deodorants working, after I stopped putting deodorant on at night the issue has gone away completely. I think just allowing my skin to be clean and breathe over night helped. Now I apply just regular dove in the morning and I’m good the entire day. I am so glad I’m done putting such harsh heavy duty deodorants on my skin. I was having irritation from over usage.

We are twins 😂 I seriously feel the same. I do use cheaper options tho. Never try lume cause it’s out of my budget. I just feel women who are married should be prepared at all times when our husbands want to be intimate. We gotta be ready otherwise they turn else where. At least my husband appreciates that from me. He is always complementing how amazing I smell.

Lume changed the game for me. There’s a definite before and after Lume in my life. I have not stank in the three years I have been using them. To me they’re worth the higher price tag.
