what I think creeps me out the most, more than the sudden glitches, is how Bob reacts. The townsfolks will tell something really creepy and worrying, and Bob would completely gloss over how sinister it is. Like the dead grandma, and her grandkid's reaction to her that was pretty much uninterested, or the character who died and is just "haha, what a funny story!". Or again the one talking about his friend who died, and how Bob's reactions were always cheerful. It shows pretty well to us that Bob is not really aware of what's morbid and what isn't; not only by his reactions, but by the fact he was the one who made that game, and clearly wanted something more lighthearted with a fun adventure where you become the hero. But due to an obvious lack of knowledge, he thinks death is as light hearted of a subject as someone getting sick but its nothing too bad. He has enough sense to understand it's seen negatively, but not enough to fully get it. That's why a guy killing another one is not seen as so bad by the game. Because the AI that made it doesn't understand what's so bad about death for humans. That, linked with the romantic quest that is just about a creepy stalker, and how Bob sees it as a love story, it implies.... sinister things. Bob's vibes in general are off. I don't think he's malicious and just really wants to be friend, but he's lacking experience of human's behavior
