I'm so jealous of Japan's recycling system - absolutely something that should be implemented here.
@Sarathewise1585 жыл бұрын
From this video, it looks similar to what we do here in NYC. I still get surprised when I meet people who don't recycle since it's the law here. The fines aren't pretty.

this is so true, i lived in germany for a while and they do serious recycling and its illegal to not, they will fine you and even stop picking up your trash if you dont, then it will be on you to take it to the dump, where they also WILL NOT accept it till it is sorted. it was a serious hassle to get in the swing of, and sometimes made mistakes, but now that i am back in america it is awkward throwing everything in one big can.
@wildbill23c4 жыл бұрын
@@Sarathewise158 I wish they'd recycle where I live....we used to have a recycling center in town, but it closed up because they weren't making enough to run the business. You'd think in today's throw away world we have there would be a massive recycling system out there to deal with all the junk people buy.

It's funny how many people deny shopping at Dollar Tree, but what they don't know..! ALERT: due to importing financial issues (taxes?), along with people not buying as much in person anymore, they have to revamp the Family Dollar and Dollar Tree. I swear, you'd be the Perfect person to help them. You should totally reach out to them!

@wildbill23c4 жыл бұрын
I don't deny I shop at Dollar Tree. Several things I buy there, notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, etc. for work...everything grows legs there, I won't buy anything expensive that I have to use at work. I also do most of my office supplies shopping when school supply season begins as that's when the biggest deals seem to be so I stock up...then use the Dollar store in between for the stuff I occasionally run out of. Organizer stuff is on my list too once I get my shed moved.

First, happy belated anniversary! You looked like you really enjoyed your time in Japan. My family was missionaries in Japan for 23 years, and truly enjoyed living there and shopping there. The Daiso stores were one of my favorites, and I would purchase small gifts to give to pastor's wives and for host and hostess gifts because those items were truly well made for $1.00. I sure do miss those stores, and wished they would have more of them throughout the United States. So glad you had a good time and God bless you.

Happy Anniversary! I enjoyed your video. I could die in that store🤣🤣 Today we are celebrating our 36th anniversary! My husband woke me up with coffee... when I went to the living room and came back to our room I started to find little notes with messages of look in this place (like “look at the coolest place”) and I went to the freezer and found a little gift with another note to look in another place, I found 7 beautiful and practical gifts in different places in and out the home... I started to cry! After 36 years we love each other so much and hope you both be blessed with everlasting love and eternal happiness!!! Thanks for your joyful videos!!!
