I just wanted to comment to say I can relate to everything you said in this video 100%. I was doing long distance running and developed PF in each foot ( not at the same time). I have done the inserts, custom orthotics, arch supports, etc. they only temporarily helped with symptoms but not the problem. I did switch over to shoes with wide toe box, zero drop, and I used toe spacers for a while. I am happy to say I have been PF free ever since ( almost 4 years now). I still do those exercises you recommend. People at work ( I am a nurse) have gotten used to seeing me do them. Lol! Thanks for posting this video. We need more good information like this!

That is absolutely amazing Stacey! Sounds like you have really addressed the root cause! That is amazing! Not sure if you have seen our barefoot mini course that we have on Jen Health, but this could also potentially help you continue to explore those feet! jen.health/barefoot

I do like Vivi barefoot shoes. But they Are so expensive even with the discount. Do you recommend any other brand of minimalist shoes?

Hmm I guess we really don't use any other type, but I do know that there are a ton to choose from! Xeros is pretty popular or Merrell is another brand I've heard people like.

Thank you ❤for sharing your brains🧠 on this 👣. I have only found out that I developed this in the last 9 or so years but have managed it well enough to not have it for the last 4 years. A couple things I wonder about- what do you wear and/or recommend as rain boots? What about shoes to protect the top part of the foot without compromising the soles for every day work wear in an office type of company? What thoughts do you have on flat sandals with wooden acupressure points all over the sole 🦶🏼(mom gets them for me in Chinatown, LA, CA)? Thanks 😊 & Blessings 🙏🏼✨

Hi Stella, thank you so much for this feedback! We LOVE Vivo barefoots. We've been wearing these for a few years now and they seem to have a shoe for every activity (for us). You can check them out on the link in the description and remember to use that discount code if you're going to! Basically, we're a hug fan of being barefoot!
