@@daniellemilligan6307 Interesting! I had to do some quick googling after your comment, since all the honeydew melons I've seen and bought have been bright yellow and more elliptical than round. But I do get some search results for round, veiny melons with the same name too, so I assume they're a different thing in different countries maybe. I immediately thought it must be a cantaloupe or a galia melon, those are the ones looking most like the picture in our grocery stores. Either way definitely a melon rather than any of Mike's other guesses 🤣

Seriously. We were lucky to have one or two desks for us in a classroom. Sometimes none. I think it's why my left-handed father wrote with his wrist turned down, you know what I mean? I never did. I have been watching Doctor Mikes's videos for years and have loved literally every single one. I have both types of anxiety from TBI. A lot of doctors love to hear about my story. At age 14 got diagnosed with PKD a chronic kidney disease, then at 16 hit my head skateboarding and had to have brain surgery, moved my brain and had a hematoma the size of a softball and they said if I my brain didn’t stop bleeding I would of died, caused me a lot of anxiety

Real quick about fitness trackers: my sister has had an Apple Watch for years, and it actually saved her life recently. She went to her doctor complaining of something feeling wrong with her heart, but after talking through stuff with her, the doctor said nothing looked wrong. My sister then showed the health data her watch had been recording for the past year, with a pretty dramatic change in recent weeks. The doctor, armed with a little more knowledge of where to look, found one of her valves wasn’t opening or closing right, and that surgery was needed to fix the problem. She got the surgery and has been fine ever since. Her doctor even recommended to always wear the watch from that point on since it had so dramatically saved her life. TLDR: while the precision or short term benefits of health trackers may be questionable, they are very useful to get a long-term picture that saved my sister’s life.

Thanks to doctor Mike…I actually knew how to do CPR on my neighbour. I am still a pre-med, wanting to go into medicine, but that incident, along with my mother’s death, really made me sure of the choice I made. Even though we couldn’t read the hospital on time, but the CPR I did and everything else just really helped the man’s wife. Even tho uncle wasn’t with us anymore…she hugged me and thanked me for trying when no one even came to help her. That was the day I realised again why I chose this profession… (After my mother died, I became really depressed towards my studies as it was *our* dream to see me as a doctor…) I believe what I was saying what, thanks to Doctor Mike, I was able to provide comfort to a woman who really needed it. (And keep uncle going for a bit…💀) Thank you sir, you’re really doing a great job

Thank you for mentioning the ice thing! I was seeing a chronic pain doctor and he told me how sports med's standard "RICE" (rest, ice, compress, elevate) can mess with the heading process. He gave me a study to read about it and it was showing that all these athletes who'd received that standard of care were finding longterm damages where they'd had these injuries. My doc suggested to ONLY use ice for ten to twenty minutes when the pain or swelling was bad enough to interfere with mobility. I've tried to explain this to people since then but nobody believes me :(
