Welcome to episode two of medical meme review (yeah that rhymed). Thanks PDP!!!
Medical memes are a great way to get a laugh whether or not you are part of the medical community. I think that they are incredibly relatable as you can catch the humor even as a patient. I will say that some of the memes can be dark and if taken out of context can even seem offensive BUT we need to understand that this is medical satire. Being able to laugh at ourselves and our troubles is a healthy habit to practice.
I really enjoy reacting to these memes and I know that there are millions more out there that are as funny. That last meme, makes me think. We always express how admirable doctors are for the lives they save, no ? Well, I want to express my admiration for all the burden doctors carry too. My sister, an ER doctor, just had a horrible experience; she lost a small girl after practicing reanimation for over an hour. The little girl had drowned in the water where her suicidal refugee mom jumped into because of desperation. My sister was heartbroken because of the enitre drama and I can't believe how she still stays strong and continues with her job with kindness and pasion. That part of a doctor's life is SO underestimated and undervalued, it shows me that you really have to be made of a special material to be a doctor. Thumbs up for all of you 👍👍👍👍

I love how much I learn from you, Dr Mike. One of the best ways to learn is but laughing at the same time! I am part of the essential oils community but I fully agree with you when you say that there's huge miscommunication. I use oils to take the edge of pain and other symptoms but I do not use them instead of medication or doctor recommendations. I always tell people that. ❤️

It’s actually not the smell. A lot of people actually put them in vegetable capsules with a carrier oil and ingest them and that works wonders. If you use them topically, the affect won’t be as great. However, oils such as lavender can help people with anxiety (such as myself), Orange helps with depression and peppermint is a fantastic decongestant
