One of the crazy details here is that the ancient one put her finger on the place where his third eye is and said “open ur eye” showing she did look in the future and indeed saw the possibilities as she said.
@mistrants27456 ай бұрын
nah thats a reach man. Yes, his third eye is there because the spiritual third eye in my philosophies the entire concept of Dr. Strange magic and culture is build on is located there. Its not a reference to his physical third eye in the later movies. Both are a reference to the underlying real world inspiration for these movies.

@@mrtadreamer It's very resembling but you can't describe or make a visual of it with FX since a DMT trip is basically jumping on a quick tour in the 4th dimension.
@mrtadreamer5 ай бұрын
@FuZZZe Understand. It's kind of like putting the works of Lovecraft to film, but it looks like it was the intention of the filmmakers to get as close to it as possible. Strange made an oblique comment about "tripping" in Doctor Strange 2. By the way, back in the day, when I was an avid comic book fan, one of my favorite story arcs from the early days of the comic, was the classic, "Eternity Saga" that took several months to complete, the final panel had Strange back home and sitting quietly at a table, and the final line of dialog read, "He sat there for s long time, coming down." If you're familiar with the history and lore of the original comic book, people suspected that the writers and artists were getting their inspiration from their own experiences with the chemistry of the day because of the visuals and dialog like that.
@FuZZZe5 ай бұрын
@@mrtadreamer I didn't see Dr. Strange 2 but how you describe him sitting after seeing this and putting things together is exactly how you feel after a DMT trip. The problem with bringing those visuals to cinema is that it can't be really accurate, imagine showing a 3d visuals to a 2d being, kinda the same, although this is as close as I've seen.
