He didn't have the heart to tell him he'd actually be opening boxes on Channel Four. And nor did his third incarnation when he arrived in 1993 to make almost exactly the same jokes. Still, give Noel credit for actually acknowledging the show's existence in 1989. This is pretty much all the promotion that last series got.

The gunge tank didn't appear until "Noel's House Party"!

I stand corrected. But I only kept this part of the episode, I ditched the off-air of the whole episode in 1990.

they had the gunge tank on the roadshow aswell just search "Saturday Roadshow gunge" and theres many videos
