Great to see a reactor who while young actually knows clasic who. So many reactors i have seen enjoy the episode but have no idea who Sutekh is.

Notice when the Doctor talked about regeneration he said Time Lords use it to “hide themselves away”, Mrs Flood also said she was “hiding herself away”… 🤔

This series has been so focused on anagrams, and Sutekhs reveal was the greatest anagram. But maybe Mrs Flood is also an anagram. The flood is created by rain, RANI??? All I know is tomorrow's episode is gonna be bloody epic!!!!!

So funny when you said about Susan potentially being the Doctors granddaughter "That´s so stupid" and I could almost see RTD laughing when he wrote this going "yeah that would be really stupid so let´s see if they buy that for a second".

I think Mrs Flood is one of the Fates from Greek mythology. According to tardis fandom the Fates temporarily imprisoned the Olympian and Osirian gods Sutekh is one of the Osirian gods.

I think at the start of Tales Ruby will run into the 'memory' of the tardis within the time window and it will be the memory TARDIS. The doctor did muse what the memory of a time machine would even be like. Also, I pray I sound as awesome as Gabriel Woolf does when I hit 91. Damn that man is awesome, like evil ASMR.

I like to think the reason they introduced the Susan thing so early on is Russell knew fans would speculate about it so he wanted it dealt with right away. He was right too, I've seen many theories that Susan Twist would be Susan Foreman Also - fantastic reaction

susan twist was a red herring but I still think the real susan will show up, either ms flood is susan or the original actress will reprise the role next episode

You won't believe it but all the crowd near the start of the episode were chanting "Sutekh! Sutekh!" At the Susan Triad thing.

I did remember that scene from the Devil’s Chord. I just thought it’s still a stretch to make that connection when Ruby only heard of the name once so long ago.

I have a huge theory/spoiler ... .. . . . . only read if you want to! . . . . . . seriously . . . . . . Col Ibrahim didn't salute the TARDIS... he saluted SUTEKH... he also was the only one that didn't flinch during the Time Window 'explosion'. HES A DOUBLE AGENT. (also shares a name with a character mentioned in Pyramids of Mars called Ibrahim!!!!

I think is becuase he told Ruby of Susan in the Devil's Chord. She likely recalled that,,,and for the other versions of Susan Twist, we know they go to other places between episodes,so likely where those 2 last ones came from. And am sure Mel been working with Unit during that one special. makes sense still is there.

Not Sure if you listen to Big Finish (Sorry recent Subscriber) but the two part audio of the fourth Doctor Adventures Kill the Doctor and Age of Sutekh are a fantastic listen

im notfamilar with Sutekh, since I was, at time watching the 4th Doctor, who was my first, I didnt see the later seasons, maybe the first 2 or 3 seasons....maybe 4. so I never seen Sutckh, or maybe forgot, but am happy to see people happy for his return.

Sutekh was in Season 13. Tom Baker’s second season as the Doctor :)

@@AWeekLastTuesdayThen Tales of the TARDIS will give you a good chance to revisit the story on Thursday on BBC Four. That episode focus’ is on Pyramids of Mars before Empire of Death airs on Saturday :)
