Liberating the Ood is the best thing this show ever did. The whole episode was a bold and excellent commentary on modern imperialism.

It is the day. The day the man brought us home. Every person, no matter what age, sex, race or origin shout and cry out in joy. Every country celebrates in unison, setting aside their differences and faults just for this. The planet celebrates, along with the other planets. Singing one song. The Song of Freedom. The Song of the Last Time Lord. The song of the Doctor.

This was the diamond age of Doctor Who... It doesn't get any better than this. Greatest song ever in Doctor Who by far. I love this song, it's an absolute masterpiece and fitted the scene perfectly.

@Alex G Steven Moffat is, actually, quite a talented "hack". He's the one who wrote the most popular and well-known episode of Doctor Who ever - he wrote Blink. He wrote Girl in the Fireplace. He wrote Silence in the Library. He wrote Heaven Sent. To disprove that he is talented, I would like you to write (at least once in your life) something like Heaven Sent.
@lepimond46054 жыл бұрын
@Alex G Firstly, Blink and Heaven Sent are obviously not "okay", they are brilliant. Secondly, how much of his series have you watched?

@Alex G he was showrunner in those episodes u dink. He writes good but ran out of fresh ideas. Chibnall just ruined the show.

I actually believe it will take an encounter with extra terrestrials before humankind puts all of its hate and intolerance aside and realises that the colour of your skin, your religion, where you happen to have been born, none of it really matters. We’re all just people, each unique but essentially the same. It’s what I love about Who, Star Trek etc, it’s not just sci-fi, it’s hope. It’s dreaming of a better future where, as one humanity, we come together to set out for the stars. I don’t just watch Who for the monsters or even the stories. I watch it to see a Time Lord who keeps their optimism and their endless kindness even after seeing unimaginable horrors across the universe & multiverse. The Gallifreyan who ended the Time War and made it their responsibility to make sure it would never happen again “no one else will ever have to live like this, no one else will ever have to feel this pain. Not on my watch”

Take this song with you. And know this, Doctor Donna, your song will be remembered. We will tell our children of the Doctor Donna, and our children's children, and the wind and the ice and the snow will carry your names forever. Sorry if I made a couple of mistakes on this one,but it's hard to find the quote and type it at the same time.

Dum inter homines sumus, colamus humanitatem. Cum tacent, clamant. While we are among humans, let us cultivate humanity. When they are silent, they cry out. Though they mispronounce "clamant" as "clament", which is subjunctive and would make no sense in this context.

David Tennant had almost all the best stories during his run smith and capaldi did ok but the quality if the show definitly started to dip Jodi was a good actress but the writing and storylines really butchered her chance to shine as the doctor. The current show is just unrecognisable now and a complete woke mess
