Yeh this was the wrong one, somebody edited it and ruined the pacing for some reason. The original was never a serious thing it was just made as a special one off thing for ‘comic relief’ a long running charity evening we hold in the U.K

Yeah, that's some bad fan made hack of the real version - there's are further repeated segments in that - version other than the one you noticed, e.g., an extra Rory and Amy entering the tardis. Dunno who thought it was a good idea to take an exquisitely tightly written piece and ruin the timing,

Uhhhh, that was a weird edit. You should go back and watch the originals, there were some edited-in time loops (more than one) in this version.

@@DiamondFire Repeating the loop more than intended in the original ruins the pacing. You can tell it's just repeated because of the bad cutting of the music and overall it's just a sloppy job. Alright, link me to the BBC version with repeated loops then.

It was double because there were two Tardis' one told the other then the second told the first, but they were both doing the same thing only 15 seconds apart, but at the same time cause time travel.

I realise this is like 4 years late but in case you never got context for this episode. The BBC has two charity staples. Comic Relief and Children in Need. Both of which feature various British Celebrities working together to raise money for charity. If I'm remembering rightly the Time Crash minisode (with the Fifth Doctor) was made for Children in Need and this one and Born Again (the first David Tennant short) were made for Comic Relief
