Interesting that the Doctor figures in the GF9 game are exactly the same sculpts as the same Doctors in the Warlord game. So who makes Who’s figures 😜?

good comparison. Time of the Daleks finally has all the numbered Doctors released! have you picked any of those up? They also have the Friends packs with miniatures for 8 of the companions. I know the Friends change the rules somewhat, but I don't know how.

Rather timely comparison of these two games as i was looking for something for my son and i to play to tick off his Dr Who itch and these were the two i was looking at. Was tempted on the Warlord skirmish game but then i alrdeady have their Test of Honour which is great but wasnt sure how the Dr Who theme fitted in a skirmish game. GF9 is rather new to me and i never played their Firefly game but from what i gather theirs is more thematic. So i know which i am going for. Cheers

Glad I could help. Both games have their advantages but just going on pure theme I think GF9 is better, though the Warlord game has a great range of beautiful miniatures. Who thought there would come a day where we'd have 2 competing Dr. Who miniature games!

The down side to exterminate is that it's an ok reskin of their zombie game mean it doesn't quite fit the doctor who license

Wow as I’m not into Dr. Who , this blog was like watching paint dry. To each his own.
