Thanks Doc, this has really helped me out through the day!! My upper half is strong, but my lower half is not as strong, especially on my right side & drop foot on the right foot. These exercises with the hip movement have helped for more flexibility in my right hip & helped strengthen the right foot. Love these videos!!

Ok, it looks like something that I would be able to actually use. I can use a cane, but I don't really like it, but I need to use one. It seems like sometimes I am really wobbly when I use it, maybe I am not using it correctly. My husband helps me walk with a gait belt and my cane. I would really like to find something like that. Thanks for the update 😊

Hello, I saw that cane thing on the video, and I was wondering where you got it? I'm currently using a Hemi walker, and a quad came, and I want to try something easier to handle, I feel like I am shaking when I use the quad came especially. Thanks

The cane in the video is a quad cane and it was one that was in the nursing home I was working in, so unfortunately, I’m not sure where it was purchased.

Hello Dr Gretchen, I am having very much difficulty in lifting feet for marching exercise. There is too much pressure and heaviness on thighs and calves, lower abdomen in fact. It is causing difficulty in standing/balancing. 😔 P.S: Diagnosed MS in 2019.

Thank you for sharing! Do you find it easier to lift your leg for marching if you lean back in the chair as opposed to sitting upright? Typically that position allows this movement to be a bit easier!

You are amazing! If you ever join Telehealth with FL Blue that would be amazing... I get 35 sessions of OT PT Massage or Chiropractic visits... My monthly health premium is expensive MS is so expensive... I can barely make it to my medical or therapy appointments because of pain and FATIGUE 24/7/365... I even have a Wii and can barely use it... P.S. this is your forever fan nanysusy from Instagram...

Wish I could do the leg exercises. They hurt my right knee and outer calf too much. Whenever I did these exercises despite the pain, I'd get crippled with pain for 3-4 days. Advil doesn't even help much. Why is it so simple for everyone?

This is a challenging question to answer without an in-person evaluation. But, you are correct in that these exercises should not be done when causing pain! If you are able, I would recommend checking in with an in-person physical therapist for an evaluation.
