Fun facts about the woman using oil from the pancake to "exercise" 1) How much oil are you using to cook your pancakes??? 2) Now your floor AND your feet are both dirty. 3) You are "exercising" by holding onto the edge of your stove that was recently hot enough to cook pancakes. 4) When your feet slip out from under you, you are asking for burns and/or a nice face/head injury. 5) Why didn't you use a gorram spatula!?

Here's my "hack". When I have a carpal tunnel pain episode, I use a kettle bell (or something around 5ish lbs that has something to grip). I use just my fingers to hold on, let my arm relax by my side. The weight on my fingers seems to help ease the pressure on those nerves. I started doing it while brushing my teeth and haven't had the pain in a long while.

U sure you had carpal tunnel???? Ppl with carpal tunnel experience MORE numbness and pain literally WHILE gripping things. It's one of the symptoms of it. Weakened grip. Sounds like u got something else going on. Unless u had a nerve conduction test, doesn't sound like carpal tunnel.

6:50 Cant do pull-ups? then increase your muscle by other work outs like push-ups
@ExqMedАй бұрын
3:35 That is actually a good tip. There’s a common misconception that “lifting with your legs” means lifting with your knees; whenever you’re gonna lift a heavy object off the floor, you want to bend at your knees, but mostly at your hips (keeping a straight spine, or at least a straight lumbar spine) and then use your hip extensors to lift the object (glutes, hamstrings). This is precisely what you would do when deadlifting; good deadlifters don’t squat down to lift the weight, as it’s a much less efficient position, they set their hips back (with some knee flexion) till they can reach the bar, then they power through the ground using their glutes, hammies, and, to some extent, their quads. (Srry for the overly complicated explanation)
@Jp138233Ай бұрын
Small nitpick would be that you don’t want a “straight” lumbar spine, you want to maintain a stable, neutral curve

10:34 The squatty potty is so beneficial. I suffer from constipation from IBS and a side effect of one of my meds. The squatty potty has been a miracle for me. I've had mine for 3 years and it is some of the best money I have ever spent. Buying it from the website is important as it depends on the height of the toilet to what the height of the squatty potty needs to be for it to work properly.

Despite the idea that many could use books or something else in its place, it actually has sold tons. Annual revenue is roughly 1.2 million, and I think he initially sold 20 million dollars worth in the first year. Its surprising and I am surprised no one mentioned it, at least from what I have seen. Glad to hear that it actually has a use... figured it was just a niche product. Have an uncle that also suffers from IBS, but haven't seen him for many years now.

I was surprised at Dr.Mike being underwhelmed by kinesiotape. I have had lots of positive experiences with it: It can reduce pain in seconds, because it takes some load off of muscles and quickens recovery thanks to increased bloodflow. I tested it on some bruises once and the taped areas healed much faster than untaped areas.

Me too. It really helped me when I had bruised ribs.

The blood flow part seems like a load of bull, and after having looked it up it seems that the research agrees.

@@-Devy- Maybe the blood flow theory is wrong, but still, kinesiotape has helped me many times.

I mean, here’s the thing. The placebo effect is a real effect. If it’s working for you and not harming you, it doesn’t matter for you as an individual if it’s a placebo or not. It only matters for science so we know *how* it works for the people it works on.

Is there something wrong with me that I'm so amused by Dr Mike getting unreasonably angry at these? 😂😅

The reason I laughed my ass of when Dr Mike said "If I was getting a pink sock I would think the next addition is gonna be balls" is the same reason I am not a doctor and he is 🤣

The video with the rocks is good. I've lived a life with foot problems and this is similar to things I've done and have been recommended by a podiatrist.

Lol. I totally loled through all of this. But the pink “cow” 🐷 totally was the icing. And Dr.Mike talking about pink balls was a close second 😂

Mike ,that's was Bulgarian ,not Russian , it says "recycle me" on the coca cola bottle on 04:15 mark, but yeah ,it is definitely Bulgarian ,easily to mistaken with Russian since we use almost the same alphabet
@Liss-vg2rzАй бұрын
I knew it was not Russian, but I couldn’t understand exact language. I thought maybe Serbian, but you cleared it for me. Thanks)
