I had an iud insertion. My body rejected it the first time so I let them reinsert. My body rejected it AGAIN! I have clots the size of my palm, extremely heavy bleeding, weight gain, fatigue, headaches, fibroids, & host of other issues. My doctor suggested a hysterectomy. She never did an exam. I was desperate to feel like myself again so I made the appointment. Something in my soul however told me to try natural remedies first. I’ve been doing herbal teas, seamoss, organic molasses, Chasteberry tea, green smoothies , & oil rubs with heating pad for about 3 weeks now. I know I have a long way to go but I feel better. The bloating & hardness of my belly has decreased & I can walk up 5 stairs without feeling like I need to rest. Faith & work 🙏🏽

dontlikeusernames absolutely!! According to several studies, the more sexual partners a woman has, the less likely she will be able to pair bond with her husband in the long run. She will get bored and search for that dopamine high with a different partner. Excess amounts of Oxytocin (bonding hormone) and Phenylethylamine (PEA) hormones turn loose. Thus making it practically impossible to commit to a long life relation. Her sexual history matters just as a man’s but a woman’s more so because females are build to EMOTIONALLY bond!

The vast majority of them don't know shit, and that's a fact. For the past decade doctors themselves have come out in public saying the same thing: that they really don't know anyting. They know how to prescribe medicine. Example: diabetes. Diabetes is 100% reversible. Yet, the vast majority of doctors deny that. We have to take charge of our own health. Furthermore they are being very misleading about estrogen signaling. I study estrogen and cancer. It can be a carcinogen just as testosterone can be for men. Just as testosterone can be bad for cardiovascular health. When talking about estrogen, you have to be clear that this is about balance. Yes stress and epigenetics can influence the extent to which we produce estrogen, but stress also increases other steroid production and those steroids can have other damaging impact. Estradiol was mentioned. It is important to woman’s health. It is protective in many ways. Black women are protected from many diseases because how we produce estradiol (our bone health and immune systems for example benefit from increased estrogen). Estrogen is essential for maintaining heart health and an aggressive immune system during pregnancy. The caveat is that our immune system’s sensitivity to estrogen doesn’t help us in the event of cancer. But again, it is about balance. Also, esterone is the estrogen that predominantly interacts with some cells to increase their fat content, but is not a major player in the female reproductive tract as the ovaries don’t predominantly produce that kind of estrogen. Esterone can be heavily influenced by diet and other factors such as testosterone levels in a woman. Again, it is about balance. Estrogen therapy should be suggested when necessary and estrogen removal should be suggested when necessary. As someone training to be a doctor I find them so misleading because for one they are not seeing patients. They don’t provide clinical care. I’m not saying alternative medicine is trash. I actually think it is useful. These individuals are selling a product. They sell lifestyle like pharmaceuticals sell pills.

@chololate944 жыл бұрын
I never negated holistic lifestyles. I only spoke to the way they were making facts work for them as opposed to letting them be facts. I specifically said I think alternative medicines are useful. We live in a world of nuance. Two things can be true at once. You can have improved health due to herbs and other plant based supplements. You can also have a group of people misconstruing scientific facts. I never said anything against their product more natural means of healing. I spoke to the science that they were getting wrong and how that was dangerous. If herbs work for you GREAT. But don’t eliminate what options for other people who may need them. And I will continue to study what I study because I do it for my people. PERIOD.
@chololate944 жыл бұрын
Cynthia Lowery No one is trying to impress you. Sometimes medicine is necessary. So it needs to remain an option. Taking science and misconstruing it is dangerous. I never spoke against their products. I only spoke to how they took scientific knowledge and twisted it.

Briaunna Minor What I got from the discussion concerning estrogen is that we are being bombarded with estrogen that is where the problem lies... The is estrogen in the pesticides that is sprayed on food, estrogen in medication, added estrogen in meats, etc....the true science is in nature, allopathic medicine is synthetic, synthetics are not compatible in bodies, which is why there are so many side effects. Yes there is a place for allopathic medicine, however, man made science don’t produce facts, it’s all theoretical!!! How many times have the theories/studies been proven wrong???Also the study outcome almost always sway towards the agenda of those paying for the studies... Let’s face it the money is not in the cure, it’s in the sickness!!!

I am glad that there is more awareness being spread about women’s health issues. I think men really need to be made aware because they have no idea about the issues women face and sacrifices that are made with our reproductive systems to have a healthy sex life let alone children. I am hoping that men particularly will be more sensitive to women’s sexual needs and issues.

I literally just got my IUD taken out bc I felt like God really wanted me to get it out and just reading about the reason for why it was created in the first place and all the chemicals in it... . went to the doctors and the doctor was like "your uterus is literally pushing your IUD out"... So happy I got it out .

HONESTLY. Thank you so much. I’ve been diagnosed with pics for 2 years now. And the doctors have pushed me away ignored my conditions for the most parts because it’s not urgent ( NHS cuts). I’ve been finding is so hard to find information on black women with this condition and how to treat it without the pill.

I reduced my sugar, caffeine, meat, dairy, etc and my menstral symptoms are way better. The amount of blood that I release is way less too but I still have this fibroid growth just underneath my skin. I’m seeing another obgyn tomorrow but this process has been very frustrating

Awww hang in there hun. It’s a difficult journey but you will get through. You may have to cut out sugar, meat, and diary completely until they shrink. Lots and lots of water and no soy products whatsoever.

I have heard all the warnings against Birth Control however, My period cramps are so bad that I haven't heard a side effect that isn't worth the risk. I've tried being vegan, I tried not eating dairy, I tried tea, I tried yoga etc and nothing worked. So I'll continue to take birth control until menopause.

I’m against birth control pills also. I have never taken them and I’m 40 years old. I have been married for 10 years. We have two kids (planned). I watch my ovulation times to know when I’m fertile. It’s hard work, but safer than the pill. Even as a young teenager I just knew taking a pill long term was not healthy.

This video is almost a year old and to me, not enough likes. I am a 38 year old Black woman who's never been on the pill, never had the injection or the coil or any other birth control paraphernalia. And to add I've never been pregnant, plus my ovaries are fully functional. I know, I checked! So, what are our sisters doing on those stuff give our guinea pig history, especially in america?

I dont want to get pregnant again. I have 2 beautiful sons but I CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER CHILD; I'm married and condoms are irritating plus Im married!!! Who using condoms? My hormone levels are off and the pill helps my mood swings however I had heavy periods prior to the pill and now I dont. The cramps are still bad but after children I can endure it much better.

That's what they're speaking to. Hormonal imbalance, cleaning up your diet, detoxing and allowing the body to reset. We are inundated with toxins from food air water emissions etc, we Need a chance to reset the body. That helps to rebalance hormones and natural body processes. Not hormonal drugs. I don't mean to offend, but these meds have serious effect. Fibroids, PCOS, cancers, infertility, etc. We can regulate our bodies and track our cycle. Tracking allows us to know when we are ovulating and able to get pregnant. We can listen to our bodies and nature. We dont need artificial hormones. But wishing the best in health*

Well I stopped taking my birthcontrol which I normally take a 2 week break every month but its been weighing on me for years but I just didnt want to keep spasming on my family because my emotions are off so I went back on it because I was a mess. 😞 ill try there 1 week mini cleanse because I wont to be better, I need to be better and my health depends on my change.
