sorry this is going to be rambley. In some other vid I watched on here was talking about how immigrants coming to our country, they didn't have weight issues or diet issues when they first got here, until they lived here awhile, some happened faster then others, because they started to eat the "SAD" standard american diet, and that is when they started to have issues. and i thought that makes a lot of sense. and i think its becoming or already has become a problem in other parts of the world because those places are getting more and more westernized, this american diet is springing up all over the place, because america is great or whatever, and that is really wrecking these peoples natural diets. the only thing that can come from eating this way is problems. im in canada and it is the same here.

I know this is a year later but I've lost my appetite so bad I've lost 30 lbs. I'm only 3wks in. I have a physical Monday I feel my doctor is about to tell me I'm malnourished.

Glad it's not just me. I woke up from surgery starving and am hungry all the time still. I'm absolutely devastated as my surgeon told me I would never be hungry again! 😔

I'm doing ok! Thanks for asking :-) I'm still hungry, but restriction is alive and well. I have learned that if I use a bread plate and eat every 2-3 hours, I can keep the hunger away. I have also noticed the hunger intensifies when I don't drink enough water. Weight loss has slowed down now that I'm 8 lbs from my goal weight, but I'm happy with my current weight, so I'm not worried about it :-) The hunger part really was a bummer, though. I was hoping I'd have at least six months without it. I still overeat at times, as a result, but my tiny bread plate limits the extent of those slip-ups.

@@heatherwarnat2349 awesome news!! I go for my 2 week post op tomorrow I don't know what I've lost bcz I don't own a scale. I've just been trusting the process and getting my head screwed on about what I've just done to my body lol.. but my face feels much tinner and my ring fell off in the shower this morning so something must be happening lol.. yes,,.. I bought a 8inch bariatric plate on Amazon,.. it's really cool.. it has it all divided correctly and it's an awesome visual. It seems to be helping my fat brain a lot. I even cought myself putting about 2 bites of food in one spot and thinking to myself.. oh geez that's a lot.. if I eat that I'm over eating!! I'm so excited for you!! What was your heaviest weight? Surgery weight? And current weight if you don't mind me asking!! Wow.. your life must have really changed.
