I agree with most of what you are saying here. I think Dodge is right by the 305 for MPG reasons. On a nice day in RWD I get 27 mpg. Lately I've been getting 23 as the weather has been crappy. Adding a HEMI would kill the MPG plus likely put this car above $45,000. I took it on a 100 mile journey last week in a rain storm and I was the fastest car on the road that day. The AWD hugged the pavement so that it felt like I was driving on a nice sunny day.

I like the wheel height because snow doesn't get all packed up in there and you have more ground clearance from curbs ect... I am going to get one of these, I am just waiting for production to go on and they kind of work the kinks out.

+MURRAYsaysHI Great idea. The wheel alignment issue I had was from the transporting truck. Fairly normal. The ECU flash update I had was as common as an oil change. They get update every 6 months to year. So my car is perfect. But again they have had AWD in the charger and Chrysler 300 which was basically award winning, so they have the AWD on par for this car. It rained and I was taking a turn quick I felt my front turn on and grab. It's really great AWD system

I have owned a LOT of new cars and DODGE/CHRYSLER are one the only ones I hear about (I needed the ECU flashed) I have never had to have this done before, but Dodge seems to do it constantly. How do you know you need a flash, do they send you a card in the mail or something????

I love this car. Had for 2 weeks now.. Just tinted the windows and put a GTS solar wing on the rear window it looks hot and I get alot of compliments. Next is red hash stripes With GT under the stripes. Big Worm Graphix will make it.

Hey guy, my name is Richard, I was born and raised on Chicago West side, in k-town, I live in Columbus Ohio now, I'm 60 yrs old, and I bought a 2017 Challenger GT bright red, and I absolutely love it, so to make it a lil faster, add a KNN air filter if you haven't already, and do a rear resonator delete, jus that alone will add almost 35 HP, you might loose 2 mpg, but you will absolutely love the sound of the exhaust, and the new power, epescally in sport mode, it's crazy, the difference I mean, very noticeable.. gets a lot of attention, and I can run with any stock 345 Hemi, a stock challenger V6 awd couldn't do nothing with me... Nice video..

If your speed limit is below 70mph, then you can get by with a Fiat 500. I'm looking at getting a Challenger, but I'll be pushing it over 120+ on public roads because 60 or 65mph just ain't gonna work... Lol. edit: I've had the GT for 6 days now and we love riding over 120mph on a regular bases. Keep a look out for video :p

I decided that if I had to have the rt with the v8, then I might as well get the challenger r/t (2 door) with rw drive only. Then I would be on my way to owning a true muscle car ! I have a 2020 GT AWD with a tune that adds 40hp 40 tq. With 93 octane or e85. The car has been great , I put some wider pirreli all the way around 255/50/19 .

Hey fresh the car is great, I think you got yours like a week before me. Same exact car. I haven't found any cons so far except of course no V8. I read the Demon might have AWD. If you have the valentine radar detector look for info to wire it to the rear view mirror. Did that in my ford SHO its easy and clean. BTW, the fuse box is in the trunk. Also, MPG city for me is 18 - 19 you must have a heavy foot. Back seat is nice but it was tight when 3 of my friends and I went to lunch today. They are big boys so it was a little close.

I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS Man , and THIS IS THE VEHICLE I'm thinking of buying ,there's NOTHING else out there that interest me , One With the same color and tint as your black paint I believe I heard you say in one video 20% on your tinted glass ,I had thought of more horse power if I bought this , but this v6 does make more sense especially with the AWD and cheaper insurance I've told myself I'd would not buy a vehicle again without the AWD so all the right reason are falling in place , right now I drive a dodge dacota v8 (05) extended cab its looks pretty beat up but I just passed 100,000 miles and still rides nicely , best thing I like about this v8 truck it fits in my garage , only problem I have finding is finding a reputable shop in my area to do a complete restoration wish well worth the expense including those common wheel well rust areas

Great car and very smooth. Had some issues but all related to the aftermarket started the put on at dealership. The tints were 20s all around and visibility was no issue. Dodge can last but the only problem is the metal and paint they use. Very thin and very easily rusts. That’s my only beef with dodge. Thanks for watching and subscribe

Hey man, if you're looking for more power, contact "RIPP Superchargers" and you'll get 392 Hemi power out of this V6. It's about 425 horsepower to the wheels. Maybe a bit less due to the AWD system, but close enough. Price isn't so bad either. And you don't even have to modify anything. It's simply just plug and play. Doesn't affect daily drive-ability at all and you get the same gas mileage if you drive it normally.

FreshLawsHasToyz Haha, well there is a tuner, but not from them. It's from diablosport and it's called the "intune i2". Not sure if they have one for the GT's as the GT's are a new model, but the tuner does work great for 335 bucks. Look it up on KZbin. You said you wished your car was a little more faster and the intune has a throttle booster that gives it a little boost lol. And you can get a 91 or 93 octane tune with it as well. Tire size too

AWD comes on under several conditions. 1. Under 38f 2. Sport Mode 3. Wipers on 4. Tires slipping. Over 38f and nice dry sunny day and you are in RWD. So to turn on AWD manually you press the Sport Mode button.

You want the honest truth. Dont buy this or ANY dodge product. Just watch the other videos this guy did. It had issues coming off the show room floor.. NO toyota or honda product has these isses right off the show room floor.. I work on cars for a living, and by far the most repeat cars coming into be fixed are Dodges, Fords, and chevys, Next would be Vw, BMW's etc.. If you want a car where the seat you be mostly sitting in is the waiting area seat at the dodge dealership, and only have fun with the car in between major repairs, buy the dodge, but if you want a car that will last a long time and keeps you from having a close relationship with your service manager, keep your scion.. Your scion will be around way after this Dodge has dided and been recycled into Maytag washing machines. This has nothing to do about being a fan or not, its about stopping people from buying really bad cars. People work damn hard for their money and its sad that so many people are blinded by the shiny parts and more so how Dodge can sell such crap and be okay with it.. Not Just dodge, Ford and its really bad transmissions, and GM with its cheap cheap parts.. Here do this just toss money out your window, be lots easier then buying any of these cars!

+James No because the other Challengers​ have an offset of around 20 and the GT and all AWD models have an offset of 35 to 40. You don't want your rims sticking out. I know it's been a few months but, just tried this myself. Tried swapping blacktop wheels from my 16 SXT to the the new 17 GT and the wheels didn't fit at all with the GT's suspension. Dealership said they'll pay to paint the wheels black. We'll see how that looks.

I have a GT and a Scat Pack shaker that I put Hurst wheels on and put the stock 20"x9" Scat Pack wheels on the GT and they work fine the extra grip and shorter side walls make it handle corners much better. They do stick out of the well wells a bit so I added the MOPAR splash guards on to help protect the rocker panels.

Yes if you do lower it, that will take some travel out if the suspension and it will not ride as well on bumpy roads. As far as power goes there is a great company that makes a supercharger! That Gaines over 100 hp at the wheels! There are videos on KZbin. Good luck nice car. I did have a 2014 Charger R/TAWD that was the last V8 AWD year.

Oh yea the company name is RIPP Industries! They have a complete turn key follow the prompt supercharger system/kit. Designed just for your car! There is a video on KZbin, where they show a base of 245 hp at the wheels. Than a run with well over 300, but then he wrote to me saying it's an old video and the latest tune shows 400 hp! On premium 93 octane gas! With the AWD and around 350 rwhp! That should give most cars a go, at least to get out of the hole! That is great in the snow belt areas. But I'm moving to FLA as soon as we sell the house up here. We plan to retire and I'm buying either an SRT 392 Challenge or Charger. All depends on colors and what's on the local lot down there at the time! A HellCat would be nice, but we also need a nice truck to tow the travel trailer. I might even look at the new SRT Grand Cherokee! The latest word is 0-60 in under 4 sec. ! With a tow rating of 8,700 lbs! But I would bet the mileage towing would be awful! Oh well we'll see when the time comes!

I'm in the same boat dude, I haul mail in a t/trl .... you know the saying, rain sleet or snow the mail still gotta go! Get yourself a set (all 4) of Blizzaks made by Bridgestone. They are the best snow tires if you ask me, I have used them on every rear drive car I've owned in my life. I had them on an old Miata and a Mustang GT and both went like tanks in the snow unless you get stupid with them, I even passed some 4wd vehicles with them, no bs. You can still have some fun sliding around on purpose too if you like. I never had a need to carry any extra weight, salt or a shovel either.
