Ok I did a 2005 dodge magnum today . The video was helpful but I found it easy to tie the steering wheel , Separate the steering shaft from the rack and pinion. Then drop drop the each by removing the 3 bolts . Then the starter will drop out easy . I know taking down the exhaust is easy too but them bolts are rusted and would make it hard if the exhaust bolts snap .

You can take off the cat convertor move it to the side for more play EASY

how do you disconnect Steering wheel?

jbryant2383 there is a Holt that will disconnect the steering column I think it's a 13 or 14 mm no it's a 12 you disconnect this and slide the column forward and it will come loose. then you will have room to remove the starter you also need to take the exhaust cover off

how do you wire the battery wires back? i was told that the red wire goes on the solenoid an the black ground wire goes into one of the 3 bolts on the starter

both red and black go on top bolt and remote goes on peg. nothing goes on lower bolt.

So the black and red wire go together connected on the bolt of the starter? I’m currently changing mine as well

@@matthewdiaz2992 did you find out if both black and red wires go on the starter? Or does one get grounded to one of the three bolts that hold the starter?.
