Shohei's surgery was a variation of Tommy John and wont impact his pitching ability in the negative. He will come back strong!

Completely agree with DMac. This is definitely the Golden Age of Dodger baseball. I would even go further and say Golden Age of MLB. Why? Because everyone is talking about baseball again even Dodger haters, which is nothing but positive for the game of baseball. As Freddie Freeman said in a podcast hosted by Travis Kelce, every game on the road, opposing fans come out to see Shohei which clearly demonstrates that the Dodgers are the biggest draw in MLB, thus the Golden Age of Dodger baseball. And yes, DMac is correct again, Shohei’s contract is the best contract ever for any professional sports team.

Dodgers trade a promising young catcher like Cartaya, but keep a bum like Barnes??? BARNES SUCKS!!!!! He's so bad Roberts can't even put him on the field so Smith plays virtually every game and gets worn down. Come September Smith is tired and worn out. Dodgers are keeping Barnes because Kershaw wants him! The hell with both of those has-beens! I'm sick of everybody kissing kershaw's ass like he's worth a plug nickel and keeping Barnes on the roster. That's two roster spots wasted!!
