Epalé! Como está la vaina? Finally...finally my town! I was born & raised in Maracaibo until me and my family moved out to Europe, Finland, my mom's homeland. I was 14 at the time. However, I visit Maracaibo once a year, I was in MAR last Oct. It was so refreshing to see the streets of my town ❤ I was hoping to see 'La Verada' which is a long promenade along the Lake Maracaibo (which is actually an inland sea, not a lake). Anyways, I remember asking you Kurt to go to Maracaibo and make a video, so thank you sooooo much! This vid brought me back so hard, I got tears in my eyes many times while watching. When you jumped in the bus in your previous video and asked where's this bus going, the driver told you that 'there where the bridge is'. He meant the same bridge (Puente Urdaneta) you crossed in this video. Maracaibo slang might be quite hard to understand, we have so many words and sayings which are not used outside Maracaibo, not even in other parts of VEN. The hot weather in Maracaibo is legendary, but in May it's still relatively mild lol. Try July or August, temperatures may reach up to 36°. Now that's hot!
