അച്ഛനും അമ്മയ്ക്കും ഏക മകൻ ആണ് ഞാൻ...എനിക്ക് cooking ചെയ്യാൻ ഒത്തിരി ഇഷ്ടം ആണ്👨‍🍳... ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ തന്നെ അമ്മ ഒത്തിരി കാര്യങ്ങള് പഠിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്... അച്ഛനും പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട് പഠനത്തോട് ഒപ്പം എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും ചെയ്യണം ., ചെയ്യാൻ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം എന്ന്... അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ ഡെലിവറി കഴിഞ്ഞ സമയത്ത് 2 മാസം അമ്മ വീട്ടിൽ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.... ആൻ്റിയുടെ അടുത്ത് ആയിരിന്നു... ആ 2 മാസം ഞാനും അച്ഛനും കൂടി ആണ് ഫുഡ് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത്.... ഇതൊക്കെ ഒരു basic life skill ആണ്... ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ തീർച്ചയായും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കേണ്ടത് ....അതിനു gender ഒരു വിഷയം അല്ല..... ആണിനും പെണ്ണിനും വിശപ്പ് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ... പെണ്ണ് മാത്രം അടുക്കളയിൽ കയറി പാചകം ചെയ്താൽ പോരാ... ആണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ആകാശം ഇടിഞ്ഞ് വീഴാനും പോകുന്നില്ല.

CA ആയിട്ട് എന്താ കാര്യം cooking അറിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ പെണ്ണ് ആണെന്ന് പറയാൻ പറ്റില്ല!!!

I was talking about the times when I show some hesitation to do things out of laziness, she starts threatening me about my marriage and how she wish my mother-in-law would be strict af so that I would learn my lesson. The intimidating statement of getting me married to a family with no girls is because of the internalized sexism she has. Like girls are supposed to do the chores and cooking in a family.
