Does early ovulation (or late ovulation) make it harder to get pregnant?

I have an average 27-28 day cycle, I usually get a positive OPK somewhere between days 9-12. After 7 cycles of TTC I got pregnant with a very early ovulation, getting a PEAK positive on day 9. Just wanted to give everyone hope that you can definitely get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy due to ovulating early.

I've a 25 day cycle my calendar say I was ovulation on day 12 of my cycle so I baby dance on day 10,11,12 of my ovulation week for this current month and still I got my period Friday 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ now am confused

I have ovulated literally the day after I ended my period and gotten pregnant multiple times. My Babies also mature faster in the womb for some reason. Even when I had a Baby at 32 weeks (8 weeks too early) she came out like a full term Baby, just smaller. The NICU doctor gave her the nickname Wonder Baby because she could not understand how a Baby born that early (with the exception of size) would be JUST like a full term Baby. Once they are out of the womb they match other Babies in development though. My paternal Grandmother was the same way. And she never understood why. So maybe its genetic and I got it from her? 🤷‍♀️

I noticed my cycles are weird. One month I get a short cycle of 23-24 days, the next one will be a long cycle -27-29 days. I have a short cycle-long cycle-short cycle- long cycle pattern. So, ovulation is also in sync. I’ve gotten really early ovulations thus, as early as day 7-9 and I was concerned. I am also TTC ing for 3 years now and doctor has told me it may be a concern with the quality of eggs. Never gotten a positive pregnancy test despite actively monitoring my ovulation and even stims injections with Gonal.

I was put on letrozole and it delayed my natural late ovulation date. I eventually ovulation naturally without taking ovidrel. Now i was prescribed progesterone suppositories until I get my period/pregnancy. I have no other infertility issues (expect for 1 previous miscarriage) All my tests have come back normal including my husbands. But I haven’t been able to get pregnant after my miscarriage earlier this year 😩 any advice of insight would be great

Hi Doctor, thanks for the info. I have been on Letrozole 2.5 mg (once a day) for 3 cycles and every time my follicle size reaches an average size of around 23 mm on day 11 itself and I have to take the HCG trigger injection on day 11 after which I ovulate within 36 hours. Is this follicle size normal as per your experience?

There is data that egg maturity in letrozole cycles lags a little bit and that larger follicle sizes, may be helpful to ensure a mature egg. We have had good results when follicle sizes are greater then 20 mm

Wow. This video was so helpful. I counted the follecular days over the last year and tracked the days from all my ovulations and it was exactly 13 days until this last ovulation on April 26th. I am 3 days late with my period and I tested 10 dpo but was negative. Since this is odd for me I do believe I may be pregnant. Not sure when to test again.

Gynae here advised that ovulation before day 12 is not good. My all reports tubes, harmones, husband report is fine. I also did 4 cycles of OI and 2 cycles of IUI in which i ovulated on day 14. I have a question about the hcg shot. I went through 3 cycles of clomid 50mg and always triggered when my follicles were 16-18mm but changing doctors i was put on 100mg and the first 3 cycles we tested my p4 and showed i wasnt ovulating and now the last 3 cycles i have been and my p4 gets higher every month. So my question is if it took a double dose and 4 months for me to ovulate was i ovulating the first 3 cycles with the trigger or was it pointless. They are all nonsense. Acupuncture has been shown to have NO FERTILITY benefit, but many people do find it relaxing and studies show it does not appear to harm fertility. The other things are potentially harmful and should be avoided

In my experience, true cervical stenosis is exceedingly rare. In most cases, difficulty in doing a transfer results from a sharp angle between the cervix and the uterus or a cervical canal that has redundant tissue causing the catheter to get stuck. Ask your doctor about doing a hysteroscopy / cervicoscopy A more experienced doctor may also be able to negotiate a difficult cervix
