I agree but remember. God's love and wrath don't cancel each other. Do you remember the story of the prodigal son? The father was heartbroken and probably mad, but he loved the son and was waiting for his return. If we stay in sin, there is no place for us in our father's house, but he still loves us and will welcome us back if we repent. But if we don't, he'll have to judge us, because he is just, even though he loves us.

I think terror can persuade some, but some are persuaded by his grace and kindess too. What I know for sure is that the kindness keeps us next to good, because we get to know how good it is to be with him. As for terror, I think it can lead to repentance the same way as seeing God's kindness to us

@@brianauman1057 That was what brought me to truly encounter God. I went to church for over 20 years leading worship and bible studies but was living in sin. I didn't really know God. One day I heard a person's near death experience which shook me, because a little part of me knew I was living in sin I just didn't admit it. All I heard in my entire life was that God is love but God is far greater than just love, His Holiness, wrath and justice are all good once you know Him. When I truly started seeking to understand Holiness and developing the 'fear of the Lord' that was when the Gospel finally made sense to me and for the first time in my life I actually felt love for God. So this is the abundant life Jesus was talking about. Since then, I have actually changed, like I found my desires themselves are slowly changing as I grow Spiritually. I am also free from being enslaved to all my addictions and sexual sins.

We all fall short of the glory of God. We can not earn our way into heaven through our own works or deeds. It is only through faith that Christ gave his life as the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins that even gives us a chance at redemption. Our love for Christ should be enough to make us want to turn away from our sinful nature. Will we never sin again? Doubtful, but that is because we live in a fallen world. We should turn to God's word and prayer when we stumble and try to avoid the very things that lead us to temptation in the first place.

The bible says that to wear clothing of mixed fabrics is sinful. I’m shocked by his answer and while I can see his point I goto scripture and I see something entirely different: Romans 5:8 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. So God hates us when we were sinners? That’s not what that verse says. It says the opposite. In Luke 19 Jesus wept for Jerusalem. Why? Because He was heartbroken that they would not repent. But why weep? Because He cares! He cared for them and was broken by their unwillingness to repent. Lastly Ephesians 6:12 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,(A) but against the rulers, against the authorities,(B) against the powers(C) of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. So there is a clear separation between flesh and bone and the demonic forces at work that blind the unbeliever. God is constantly pursuing the lost but He will not force someone against their free will. I pray the sinner would repent and forsake their ways as Paul declares in 1 Corinthians 6:11 so they can reconcile their ways. Which is more effective l: God hates you personally so you better stop sinning OR God loves you and wants a relationship with you?

The only sin that is not forgivable is denying the Holy Ghost. And that cannot be done unless one first obtains the Holy Ghost. Everyone else has the light of Christ in them. John 1:9: 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Rom. 3:23 says 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Sinning is forgivable (except the one mentioned). Hence, though we all sin or have sinned, God recognizes that in us is still the Light of Christ, trying to get us to repent. God loves the Light of Christ that is in all of us. So though he hates the sin as well as the sinner sinning. He does not hates us 100%. If He did He would be hating the Light of Christ in us as well. Thus, He still loves the sinner who still has the Light of Christ in them despite they sinning, and will continue working with each of us and doing it with His love. Romans 7 Paul says this of himself: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Its all about God's character. God is full of grace to everyone He has made. His love is held out in His hand to all. These men are who God warns us about who will come into the World in our age.
