It’s so interesting to listen to a dominate champion such as RV speak his mind and try to illustrate his perspective and point of view on things. What’s most interesting is he’s literally a normal person that just had this insane work ethic.

Normal person? What normal person steals a gator and throws it at his friends lmao, but definitely worked his ass off to get where he is, gotta love RV

I thought he hated training and was always trying to get out of it??

I love this format where they can be themselves and speak their minds.

I like this version of villopoto 👍

Look at the mindset of JB 1:52 he says having a kid makes for a fun podium picture...Villopoto was never in it for a podium picture. Guys like RV and them are bred different and you can tell cause they have those chips
@kountatalk3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. I think to a be full on champion like RC or RV was it takes a different mindset
@thisguygrant3 жыл бұрын
I disagree bc Poto was saying he wished he had an older kid while racing to see him racing, i think all these guys mindsets are off the charts and for any athlete of any sport they’re all kinda similar
@mxwells2163 жыл бұрын
@@thisguygrant Yeah that is one thing "wishing" and doing...cause he didn't say that in the beginning...All he had to do was have a kid back then.............its not hard LOL he had twins

Wasn't it Honda (MotoGP) that said years ago, people who had girlfriends had slower lap times than those who were single?

I agree that it is different for RV. And if Weimer and Brayton had the funds to end their careers then they would. Most men would do what RV did if they could

Kids are expensive...so are dirt bikes....very few can have their cake and eat it too 😂 fact is unless your mommy and daddy are rich like these guys parents were ...you’re probably never going pro 🤷🏼♂️
@riseupmx3 жыл бұрын
Not everyone who is successful had rich parents. Some parents just work their asses off to get their kids to the level these guys got to, or to the level were sponsors can step in. Coming from nothing seems to make more champions it seems. That's my take anyway.
@localenterprisebroadcastin59713 жыл бұрын
@@riseupmx yeah perhaps 20 years ago...but bikes, fuel, gear and parts are pretty much a rich mans game now...back in the 90s and 2000s you would still see the self funded Moto family roughing it from a beat up RV but not now...or it’s so rare I haven’t seen it in 20 years lol
