It's quite peculiar that someone could entertain the belief that Jesus is GOD---or, the FATHER. How is that even POSSIBLE? There is the "FATHER," and there's the "Son." There are very Substantial DIFFERENCES between the two. If someone is going to assert they are TWO "Persons," then---only ONE can be GOD. Obviously, when you see the word "Son," it isn't re- ferring to the FATHER. The entire issue is really very simple. It is man-made theology that has complicated the subject.

Deut 18:18, John 7:16, Acts 2:22, Mark 10:18, John 16:13 and so many more....if you do not believe in two verse, you are in deep trouble, John 3:16 and Romans 10:9 kjv. Two! Not one, two! God the Father and his Lamb our Savior....which gives us Grace! Question, can God be tempted by evil? answer: NO! James 1:13 kjv Christ was tempted by Satan! Amen!

What gets me is translations like the NIV. "... who is himself God..." John 1:18 NIV If the trinity it so secure you wouldn't need this translation.

All gospel supports that Jesus is God's Son.The high priest said do you claim to be the Son of God,and when Jesus asked Peter,who do you say that I am? And Peter said you are the Son of the most high God,not God Himself.i can give you 25 or more.What about stephen,Stephen, Jesus at the side of the Father,and Jesus saying I accend to my Father.And This is my son in whom I am well pleased.i can go on and on.But when you use my Father and I are one,can be explained,when Jesus prayes for His diciples,Father make them one in me ,even as I am one in you ,meaning sameness. Much like with Moses in Exodus 4:16, God gives the agency of God to His angels when they appear to the patriarchs in the scriptures. So, on the one hand, it's not actually God Himself as no mortal man can see Him in all His glory. But, on the other hand it is as though it is Him because He speaks directly through these angelic mediators who perfectly obey His instructions. Yeshua (Jesus) is the perfect example of this, that is why He says to His disciples, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father-" (John 14:9) Yet in John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent." And furthermore in Revelation 3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God and My new name." So even Yeshua makes it clear that God Almighty is distinct from Him, yet they are so in sync with each other that it is a though you're seeing God through Him. Remember, we as humans bear God's image (Gen 1:27) and Yeshua is The image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), the Last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45). He is the perfect reflection of God's character, the perfect shadow of all that God is in human form, the ideal Adam(Man) The "Son of Man" that walks perfectly in the Torah(Instruction of God) as humans were supposed to originally. Therefore, He has the agency to forgive sins, to hold the Heavenly Kingdom on earth when He comes back, and be(as it were) God on earth.

Inserting "God" into John 1:18 in place of "Son of God" destroys the overall context of scripture, causes controversy and confusion. Jesus cannot be both the Son of God and God at the same time because Jesus had a God he prayed to and he called him the only God and Father. Conflicts, contradictions, and confusion is the first hint that someone is wrong.....both views cannot be right. When you find an interpretation or translation of a scripture that conflicts, one must dig deeper to resolve the conflict. That is why and how I became a Biblical Unitarian Monotheist after 43 years as a trinitarian. The Unitarian belief harmonizes with the whole Bible by destroying contradictions, confusion, and conflicting interpretations. What trinitarians are declaring is that Jesus is God the Son which contradicts the Bible teaching that Jesus is the Son of God. Both views cannot be right. If we were to give a weight of one ounce for each scripture to support each argument, the verses that declare Jesus is the Son of God would crush the badly interpreted verses that trinitarians rely upon. Every book of the Bible contains verses that support the unitarian position and destroys the trinity heresy.

I agree that the trinity teaching is incorrect. I do have a question if you have time. In 1 John 5:7 it says the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit are one. I'm confused by this. Can you shed some light on it for me? Thanks

James Snapp God can't be begotten therefore both readings show that the son can't be the Deity. The son is a begotten God by God the Father and is only called God in a representative sense.

Here's a clearer rendering of that ancient Hebrew text in modern English: No one has ever seen God, but his unique Son; who is similar to God and is at the Father's side. He has made made him known.

Just go to the Oldest Greek Texts. John 1:18, doesn't even make SENSE, if one renders it according to trinitarian ideology. Furthermore, "GOD," and, "BEGOTTEN," are mutually EXCLUSIVE! Since WHEN was Almighty GOD BEGAT??

I am greatly puzzled by BOTH oneness and Trinity arguments. NEITHER argument makes sense. They both seem silly and they both insult my intelligence. Did God PRODUCE a son, or did God BECOME HIS OWN SON? No one has ever provided an intelligent answer to this question. Nor will this teacher or anyone on this comment feed. Go ahead and try. I guarantee you, your answers will only generate MORE QUESTIONS, which I'm sure no one will be able to answer.

As far as I understand, Oneness doctrine teaches that God is one but is manifested in 3 forms. Biblical Unitarians who produce these videos don't believe this, but believe that Jesus is a separate being. You might have answers to your questions by now, but in case you haven't, can I ask what puzzles you about God begetting a son?

The NIV and ESV, and NASB translate John 1:18 calling Jesus "God" because we have found earlier manuscripts than what the KJV is based on. The KJV is based on the textus receptus that dates to the 10th century, while now have codex alexandranus, codex sinai and codex vaticanus that date to the 4th century, much earlier and more reliable to what the original author stated
