people forgot how fucked up family matters was when they listened to this. Kendrick warned him repeatedly. He said "drake, don't tell no lies about me and don't speak my family's name" what did drake do? said his fiancee is a slut, said his best friend is fucking his fiancee, said she lied and kendrick is raising a kid that isn't his, and then said that kendrick probably beats his fiancee because she's such a slut. If you're too young to understand... just know this: They killed Pac. They killed Biggie. 50 Cent got shot 9 times. Proof got killed, Takeoff got killed, Nipsey got killed.... all for just being *near* a bad situation. He's alive, so by rap beef standards he got off easy for what he said.

Kendrick has this all set to the background vocals “and you went there.” He kept trying to warn Drake, “don’t go there” but Drake wouldn’t listen. This is a battle, but it doesn’t appear to be a rap battle. Kendrick appears to have used soul music, in this battle, to indicate to us, that this was a battle for our souls and conscience. Kendrick has exposed Drake to be a modern evil version of the Pied Piper and worse than Harvey Weinstein. I don’t know how to say this. Before this dis I considered Drake the showman with poppy tunes. I didn’t like his rap voice, but I liked his singing voice. I considered Kendrick the lyricist who imparts knowledge and had skills. After this, I’d feel grimy/dirty to ever give any Drake song a listen or a spin. Throughout this Kendrick appears to be giving advice to the next generation. The advice Kendrick gave to the daughter is trying to prevent the next Aoki Lee Simmons(Russel Simmons’ daughter) from looking for sugar daddies.

That morals point is misstated, in my opinion; the hood is deeply linked, and kept together, by people, and the culture, standing strongly on morals, but when you cross that line for a person of that environment, that escalation is almost always to the death, until they calm down about it or your gone. Hood folks don't play tit for tat, with anything that they love and hold dear. Only kinda odd thing is that Kendrick Lamar gave him the courtesy of a warning; say anything about my family, and I'm fucking your whole world up. Drake thought he was bluffing, even after the experience he had with Pusha T. Kendrick is stomping him out, to hopefully finally teach him the lesson

He was warned, because Drake has a pattern of attacking the girlfriends and wives of rappers in his disses.
