I love your comment but Kratom is not an opioid. No one has ever died of a Kratom overdose. If you take too much and I mean WAY TOO MUCH it will make you nauseous. Low doses keep you from withdrawing but the addict in me made me take a crazy amount but I didn’t overdose. It simply made me feel sick at a higher dose which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place by taking it. I’m clean now but Kratom made me take the right amount through trial and error and kept me from taking opiates that had made me overdose a few times. Kratom is the stepping stone to being done with opiates! I HIGHLY suggest it!!!

@@AngelinaX23 idk how high your doses are, but I will tell you what worked for me. I bought, Borneo Kratom capsules. I went with the red strain at first as that was what was recommended. Before my first dose I had early signs of withdrawal, hot and cold sweat, watery eyes, sneezing, aches etc. I tool 6 capsules, waited 30 minutes, was still not feeling thay great so tool 6 more. Within 15 to 20 minutes, I felt totally fine. I stuck with 12 caps a day, twice a day for a week. Then went to just 12 when I woke up. Now I use powder. 1 tsp in Oranje juice in the morning, but I don't even take it every day anymore, only when the pain is really bad. For me, I don't have cravings for Kratom like I did with the meds, and I don't need the Kratom every day to just feel "normal". I can't recommended this stuff enough. Happy to answer any more questions you may have.

I've had to take this stuff called prolate for the last 8 weeks. It's the same ingredients as percocet, but the side effects are nasty, very sedating. I'm taking 50-60 mg a day. I ordered K from a good vendor, so I have some of each type: white, green, gold, red. I've been doing hours of research and reading testimonials. I have a pm appt tomorrow and probably a pee test. I'm planning to jump off after that. I feel like crap all the time so I figure that K can't make me feel worse. I think I am most worried about being able to sleep. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

What actually helped me was tapering. I went from 140mgs of oxycodone a day to 2mgs to 1mg skip a day 1mg, then none at all. I only had slight withdrawl I’m on day 3 and I tell you I feel normal😮 , only symptoms I’ve had while waking up were anxiety. I had a 2 year pill addiction. One thing I will say is withdrawing while coming off higher doses is HELL!!! What helped me was goody powders, and Benadryl. I’m never going back

While I agree that there could be cases where “kratom can lead to worse opiate withdrawal”, I’m curious how you feel it outweighs what seems to be fairly convincing evidence (anecdotal but lots of it) in helping people end some serious S-tier addictions like alcohol, pain meds and heroin? If you had a patient with a serious heroin addiction or alcohol abuse disorder wreaking havoc in their lives, would you truly advise them against trying a short term, low dose regimen of kratom? If so, could you explain further why?

The truth is, kratom CAN be used for getting off of opioids, and not only that, but you can also quit kratom cold turkey with no withdrawals. It can be a decently strong opioid itself, with a little addiction potential, but nothing like other opioids.

I'm a huge kratom advocate but saying there are no withdrawals is just false. I've heard the withdrawals are like withdrawing from H and benzos at the same time. I don't know because I've never stopped taking it in the 10 years I've been using it and I see no reason to ever stop as it doesn't have a negative impact on my life. It's also not an opioid and doesn't suppress the respiratory system, it's not deadly.

@@Karen_MarieNo Kratom withdrawals are nowhere near benzo level. I’ve quit large doses of Kratom before. That just lasts a few days. But when I quit 8 mg of Klonopinna day I had to go to detox. I will tell you I was up for 6 days and 6 nights had hallucinations and could not stomach anything except for water for 3 days. So while there are some strong withdrawals with Kratom it wasn’t 1/10 as bad as Klonopin.

If your having opioid withdrawls KRATOM WILL NOT MAKE THEM WORSE, it is true that your basicaly just prolonging the issue, but like i said, if your already chemically dependant on real opioids...no its not going to make your withdrawls worse its going to stop them completly if you take enough, and you wont be able to eat enough to get as high as you probably were on multiple vicodens or oxys or whatever, the only way this guy is right is if you were addicted to tylonal 3's, then yeah the problem will be worse becuse your taking a more powerful opioid (unless again, you were taking a handful of tylonal 3's just to get high which would kill you most likly from the tylonal) i see so so so so many people in the recovery community and doctors that have never taken kratom talking so illogically about while precribing suboxone which is a much much much worse drug as it like other opioids still affects the respratory system, kratom does not create respratory problems, also if you happen to relapse while on kratom yes it can be unsafe and yes you will be more likly to over dose(which can happen if your taking suboxone as well) but you wont go into rapid onset withdrawls or any of the other nasty symptoms that happen if you combine subs with something like heroin. I think it really goes to show how the medical community has sold out for big pharma when they are actually still recomending methadone(again a stronger opioid then kratom that also slows breathing at high doses ) while they "warn" you against using kratom, and its never a fair conversation with these people, they will warn you against kratom and then talk abiut methadone and suboxone as a healthy option in another video, its 2023, if you want safe lab tested kratom there are several company that you can vet online and see the lab results that they all pay to have done by a third party lab, yes there has been contaminated kratom, hell i think they even found fentynal in some kratom that was unbranded being sold at a gas station. Lets please be honest, kratom is a much much much much much better option for most addicts then methadone or suboxone or even tapering off heroin (which can really really be contaminated) for the love of god dont spend half the video warning us about the dangers of kratom that if bought from a relutable dealer/vendor would be safer then any other option and then in the suboxone video spent the whole time talking about its benifits. It makes you look like a shill, and lets be honest once kratom came on the scene.....whatever company you work for that able to prescribe methadone or subs became completely useless.

Just get the straight powder, put it in a shot glass and put it directly under your tongue so you don’t taste it and then swish it around with Gatorade. You won’t taste it barely at all. I used Kratom for the days I stopped fentanyl and was waiting for enough time to get on the Suboxone. It helped me get there. As when I had nothing I could never wait long enough and kept putting myself in precipitated withdrawal. Obviously when that would happen I would just go and get fentanyl again. So it can be used to help you wait long enough to get on subs. You need at least 80 plus hours before taking a sub off fent .

Kratom didn't help at all with my fent withdrawal, I had to hit the methadone clinic and do a 21 day detox, wich still left me withdrawing bad , but I took kratom for the methadone withdrawal and it helps. I'd take 4 pills every 3 hrs . 2 grams. It would take 30 to 45 min to kick in. I would say you get a little relief. Like 10 or 15 percent less intense. But that little relief when you are peaking does help. I'm on day 8 of methadone withdrawal and it is still causing me pain and fatigue but I've already started to taper off the kratom. Only gonna take it once or twice today, maybe once tomorrow if I need to.

I stopped my psin medicine of 19 years with kratom, ive never heard of anyone smoking it. I just didn't go to my appointment because i was sooooo tired of peeing in cups, running low a few days early, having the pharmacy telling me it was on backorder, and once i lost my bottle for 4 days, i really wish i had known about kratom then. Tread lightly as people say its addictive, but don't feel guilty if you actually need it. It helps with pain and anxiety. Do as much "research" as you can by watching videos and reading comments. It does bund to opoid receptors so there will definitely be potential for abuse. It will also alleviate 70-90 percent of alcohol, heroin, percocet withdrawal. Good luck and be safe/smart about it.

I’m currently trying to get off opiates right now and the withdrawals are absolutely horrible. I’ve tapered down to doing 2-3 points daily. I’ve herd that gabbapintin helps out a lot with withdrawals and also that kratom helps a lot. I have gabbys I can take and also I can get kratom. I was just wondering if there’s anybody who could relate and/or let me know how both kratom and gabbys compare to one another. Thank you. It’s been a long..long battle. Another thing he left out was kratom works by working your opioide receptors. Just like a pain pill. Though it might take ur craving away ur still on it. Suboxone that we get today is a lot better as a withdrawal medication. Some people can actuallu take suboxone and go 3 full days without needing to take another dose. Also, u dont have to pay someone to grow it or chop it down it can manufactured and is A LOT cheaper, safer and easier regulated than kratom.

It works very well if you can manage to slowly taper before switching. If you are on high doses of pain medication or use needles then Kratom may not be strong enough to get you through withdrawal. At my peak I was taking 8-10 pills a day and Kratom did nothing. It took me 2-3 years to get myself down to 1 a day, by that point Kratom made the withdrawals almost non existent. No sweats, no chills, no restlessness, no stomach issues, the only thing it didn’t take away were mild cravings but that was manageable.

I like the way all these Drs try to keep people from experimenting with Kratom to get off of opiates and Suboxone. This guy is so wrong!! I used opiates for nearly 15 years and started using Kratom 2 times a day. I never experienced withdrawals and only had 1 or 2 relapses, which only amounted to using opiates for a couple of days but then immediately returning to my Kratom treatments. I reluctantly began Suboxone treatments and I’m starting to taper off, but I believe had I kept using Kratom I’d be totally clean by now. From what I’ve heard getting off Suboxone can be harder than coming off opiates. It’s funny how Drs praise the medication that gets you clean but neglect to tell you that it’s almost harder coming off the medication that got you clean! Suboxone is basically trading one drug for another drug because the withdrawals are practically the same!

I used kratom on a very strict regiment, for about 2 months, when I finally jumped off of my last dose of methadone (after I had tapered down). It quite literally saved me from relapsing and I feel like I owe my life to it. If you don't mind could you let me know how you tapered from methadone and how much and how you took kratom? I've been tapering off methadone for a couple years and I'm down to 3 milligrams going down 1 milligram a month so I'll be done in a couple of months and was thinking about taking kratom once a stop so that stopping methadone wouldn't interfere with my work, but don't want to mess up by taking to much kratom or the wrong kind of kratom, I'm really glad to hear of your success, we definitely need more success stories for those of us that truly want to be free of this slavery.

Kratom user of 11 years here. If you have no addictions, do NOT drink kratom daily. Ive been dependent on it for years now, and cant go more than a few hours without it. The withdrawal symptoms are similar to any other opiod withdrawl, and are unbearable. Going cold turkey is close to impossible, and its insanely expensive to have as a habit in your life. Kava bars and other places have taken advantage of the fact that its addictive, and charge $8+ for each drink (when wholesale it's insanely cheap from the islands) I went from having no addictions, using it for productivity, to being absolutely dependent on it daily. If you wannandrink kratom, drink one and then wait a couple days. Dont drink multiple per day, every day, or youre fucked.

Kratom definitely helped me with a Tramadol withdrawal. I was taking tramadol for almost 5 years. I lived in a country in which it was available over the counter. When I returned to the US, I was forced to stop taking Tramadol I had tried withdrawing before and knew I was in for some hell. I found a local kratom shop after reading about kratom helping the withdrawal process. It was ABOLUTELY amazing. It took me from a 10 (being the worst) to a 4 or 2. I do take kratom everyday but 1) I dont take more to feel the same effects. 2) I wouldnt even say the effects are all that strong. I feel like I drank a strong espresso, but without the jitters. It does have a very very small opiate effect, but taking more kratom didnt seem to make that effect stronger..it actually made me sick when I tried taking a lot.(This is a good thing)

This is BS. Kratom is as relaxing as a cup of warm milk ( YUK) it’s less mind altering than a glass of wine. It taste worse that chocolate. It’s safer that pharmaceutical anti depressants or pain meds, it’s even safer on our bodies than acetaminophen and ibprofen. It never made peopl have nervous breakdowns like pharmaceuticals yet it relaxes in a healthy way unlike pharmaceuticals. It’s less addicting than sugar but our bodies depend on the emotional help like the air we breath. The only reason we are constantly reading these lies is because pharmaceutical companies are taking a beating. Pharmaceutical companies have made billions off of sock people, high strung people and emotionally drained people. Those money hungry demons will go from state to state sending lobbyists to pay thousands upon thousands to bribe dirty money hungry politicians anything to make the safest help we’ve ever had illegal. Kratom in its natural form is safer than coca-cola yet being attacked worse than the tobacco companies ever were until of recent years. I believe in prayer and I pray wholeheartedly that every dirty demon pharmaceutical company are shown to be in full light for the good people to see and for the evil money grabbers to cry over. GOD has sent a healthy plant that has been around since Biblical days yet only growing in popularity of recent because of our way of communication and knowledge. Scientists are studying the effects and safety and have yet to see any danger. This has pharmaceutical companies in urgent mode to stop it. It’s not cocaine nor heroin yet as a gift as the grapes are. Kratom does cause hangovers or headaches. Just because some people alter it to chase a high is no different than idiots huffing gas or fumes of some sort.
